Weekend away with Sky Mahi and able to take my fam with me is the best.
Even better to see our favourite @pewhairangi perform Kapa haka at Te Papa.

👩🏽‍🎓 18 Months studying part-time to complete her Post Graduate diploma of Teaching. Māhaki was 6 DAYS old when she was at her first block course, part time studies, part time teacher, full time Māmā, full time conditioner, coach, loving partner.
.
.
I’ve seen her stay up lates preparing for her classes and completing her studies. She did it all on her own. No help.
.
I’ve seen her thrive in the classroom. She’s already miles ahead of any beginner teacher. Frickn hard working, innovative, firm and has deep care for her learners.
.
.
She will not just go on and teach, she will lead and make a genuine impact in education. (Even though she says she hates it and people. 🙊🤣).

What a role model you are babe for our children. Proud and love you ❤️ @rhiarnaferris taken in Massey University - Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa by @5uey
