Proof that sometimes you don't need a new look, you just need the right barber. #maldenbarber #bostonbarber #goodlooksbarbershop #ᴇxᴘʟᴏʀᴇᴘᴀɢᴇ by @617chato

Something in me wants to put this out there. There’s something interesting going on….

It’s not JUST about the haircut (as great of a barber as @617chato is, there’s more)

The experience, energy & community that’s being built from the inside out.

Chato owner of Good Looks Barbershop in Malden is a good friend of mine who I actually even roomed with for over a year at one point.

Watching him grow from basement cuts into shop owner and leader is fkn awesome but it’s even more wholesome witnessing what he’s doing for others.

I noticed a subtle pattern of “upbringing & uplifting of others” bringing in young, skilled, rising barbers who are eager to grow.

He and Good Looks host events for the community and workshops for driven barbers…

And he and the shop are always in a state that makes you wanna stay in there (not including Chato taking his time with his cuts… but can’t even complain about that really)

All I know is going there means love: love for self; feeling smooth after a trim, love for the community, love for growth and the ambition to make the world around around us a better place.

And you know it’s true when my random 2 hour-before notice for my appointment “coincidentally” greets me with an old friend I rarely see.

One of my favorite places in the world indeed by @617chato

Corrective Cuts >

When a new client sits in your chair and you revive their confidence.

Bringing back trust.

My client had trust issues from his last experience from a different barber.

This is where consistency is CRUCIAL.

Consistency brings a high client RENTENTION rate.
