Soooo I got the beautiful opportunity to show my love for the women who shaped my childhood and shaped me as an artist. I don't think I would be as bold and beautiful as I was if it weren't for Ms. JHud and Ms. Renée!!

Going to see the Jhud show for the first time was an experience that I will never forget. The energy in the room when the stunning amazing @iamjhud came out was UNREAL!!! I met so many incredible people that day. I got to dance around and have fun, I got to sing in front of a crowd which I would have never had the courage to do in any other space, I really am finally living my dreams! I love and admire with my whole heart, from my favorite color to the people I look up to, and being able to be in a space with the people that I have looked up to my whole life was so life changing, it made me emotional.

When @reneeelisegoldsberry came out, I burst into tears and did not stop crying until I made it home. First of all, she looked beautiful, and the energy that radiated off of her was so powerful I couldn't help but shed a tear. When she finished her interview and one of the producers asked me to come to the front, my heart felt like it was about to beat out of my chest. I was finally gonna be able to tell the women that changed my life as a kid how much they meant to me. Looking back, I wonder if the words I was saying were even English and if they could be heard through the sobs and gasps for air.

Ill say this... Thank you so much for speaking life into the little black girl from Chicago who thought that her personality was too much. You showed me that people who look like us can be so much more than the box that they put us in. I truly deeply admire your work ethic and hope to be as iconic as you someday. I speak it into existence that I will play your daughter, niece, or little cousin in a movie or musical someday but for now thank you for the beautiful and amazing experience and I'll keep shining like you said 💜 by @626bratz_grl

Now that the festivities are officially over, I can make the birthday post 🤪🥰

Starting off with the fact that I turned 21 on the 21st 🤯 Best golden birthday EVER anyways heres my sappy message

Dear 11 y/o Sash,
Mariposa we did it!!! We made it 10 years farther than we could have ever imagined. We made memories that will last a lifetime. You finally got to meet Max and tell him how grateful you are and it was EPIC‼️

Dear 18 y/o Sash,
Girl, good God, did we make it through, we had some ups, some downs and some memories that we wish could go away, but you stuck it out and that's what matters. I'm proud of you 🥰

Dear 20 y/o Sash,
Babe, you did it, you made the hard decisions that you didn't want to make. You cut off friends that you thought would last a lifetime. You have grown into such an amazing person, and I am so proud of you, you have been through hell and back since you moved to LA and yet you persevered, and now I get to stand here today because of the choices and sacrifices you made ♡

For all the past versions of myself, I can't believe I can say this coming from a girl who thought she would have been a ghost by 16 you stuck it out, you made it through. Life is really hard, but as long as you keep your head on straight and fight for what you believe in, fight for being loud in spaces that wanna quiet you down, fight for being yourself...just be you and stay sparkly ✨🦋

NIGHT 3: THE AFTERPARTY ✨🤪🥳 (show number 30🎂)

Night 3 was probably the best night out of all of them, I loved night 2 with the vibes, but night 3, I met some of the coolest people that I have ever met and gain some friends that I think will last a lifetime 💜 @pennywildmusic kicked us off with some bumping tunes‼️ Literally had the best range of music to start jamming out, I got whiplash from the range of music that we had, but she ate down, because who would have thought to put Check it out by Nicki with 365 by Charli🤯 @ayumu_imazu @mathew_meow and @rikihonda105 came out and KILLED it once again (no shock there these men are superstars🥰) I got to hear Obsessed ft. MAX live and I kid you not something shifted in my universe 🦋 then we had @partypupils @cody.dear @maxmusic SHUT IT DOWNNN 🙂‍↕️ the fancy footwork, the CRAZY sax playing, the insane vocals, the sexy ass remixes, I HAD A FAWKING BALL‼️‼️‼️

To my MAXinistas; y'all are THEEEE hype squad and ilysm thank you for being amazing and I'll see y'all soon 💜

To the incredible artists I got to experience; I am so grateful to experience your art in such a beautiful way, thank you for being open enough to share your gifts with us, I'll be glowing for y'all for the rest of my life ✨
