Part one of at least two posts of Death Valley National Park, all shot on my Kowa Super 66 with Ektar100. Kowa 500mm F/8 (1,2,6,7) Kowa 85mm F/2.8 for all others.

Very glad I managed to see the park when I did, weather was beautiful, Lake Manly was there, and the super bloom had just started. I'll definitely be trying to go back while the bloom is in full swing, and you'll see it here if that happens.

Finally got around to posting my photos from a trip to Joshua Tree National Park with @neg.influence, had a great time meeting other film photographers, even though I ended up locking my keys in my car and losing the group 😭. All photos were shot on Ektar 100 with my Kowa super 66. Lenses used were Kowa 500MM F/8 with 2x teleconverter (photos 1,2,4) Kowa 85mm F/2.8 (photos 3,7,8,9,10) and Kowa 55mm F/3.5 (photos 5,6)

Next post(s) will be from death valley, lots of photos from that coming.

I've kinda forgotten about social media for a bit (oops) but I made a big purchase in January as a self birthday present, in the form of this Kowa Super 66 Medium format camera, took it out to Mori Point, Pacifica, California for its first proper roll and I'd say it did pretty great!

Shot on Kodak Gold 200, Kowa 85mm lens.

TikTok account for my film photography escapades is in progress, no promises on the quality of content or a timeframe ;)

More film photos!!!

This is my third roll of film, shot in two locations. 1-8 are at Wavecrest Beach in Half Moon Bay, the last 4 were at the Pulgas Water Temple. Both very nice locations, Wavecrest was a great hike and I saw a Northern Harrier (no photos sadly) film photography is fun.

Shot on Fujicolor 400 out of an Argus C3(1962)

A selection of my second roll of film (Fujicolor 400) shot on an Argus C3 (1962), some better than others, but I think I did fairly good for not using a light meter on a 60 year old rangefinder camera. Some of these I'm Very happy with, others I had a good vision and poor exposure. Gotta say, California is very photogenic, I think I'm falling in love with the Pacific, even though I miss home sometimes.

These are some Film photos from when @naevyn and I went on a road trip to the Smithsonian's Udvar Hazy Center and the Museum of the United States Air Force, sadly most of them didn't turn out because of lighting (using a 60yo Argus C3 is hard) but these are the best of the bunch. The last two photos were taken at the same moment, one is the photo the other is me taking it, with the camera in hand.
