The clocks changed, the sun is setting earlier, and your body might be noticing.

Less daylight can affect your mood, energy, sleep, and daily rhythm. As we settle into November, pay attention to what your mind and body are telling you.

And remember: struggling with the seasonal shift doesn't mean you have to struggle alone. by @6_ft_over

Taking your mental health seriously is part of taking care of yourself.

Check in with yourself. Stay close to the people who make you feel supported. Give yourself space to have hard days and good ones.

Keep showing up for yourself and your people. by @6_ft_over

You don’t have to wait until you're overwhelmed to reach out.

Talk to a friend. Make the appointment. Tell someone you trust that you've been having a hard time.

Support is worth seeking at any point, including the days when you simply feel a little off. by @6_ft_over

The official FEST 24 compilation is out now. 🐊
Bands playing @thefestfl generously donated their music to make this happen.

It’s available on Punkerton Records’ bandcamp.
Profits will be donated to @trevorproject , @6_ft_over and @punkrocksaveslives

We know you were hoping for physical copies, unfortunately, this year has not been kind to the Punkerton Records family. There is a little bit more on why this isn’t on physical on the Punkerton Instagram.

But we definitely wish we were in Gainesville with you. Have the best FEST.
Sing loud.
Look out for each other.

For the music. For the scene.

Fall means shorter days and less sunlight, which can make this time of year feel heavier for some of us.

Pay attention to how you're feeling, keep the routines that help you feel grounded, stay connected to your people, and ask for support when you need it. by @6_ft_over

Mental health deserves our attention before we reach a breaking point.

Give yourself permission to notice what you need, whether that is rest, connection, movement, support, or simply a little room to breathe. by @6_ft_over

Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day.

Check in with yourself. Check in with your people. Make room for honest conversations about how we're really doing.

A little connection can go a long way. Keep showing up for yourself and each other. by @6_ft_over

Suicide prevention can start with a conversation.

If someone in your life seems unlike themselves, reach out. You don’t need perfect words.

"How are you doing, really?"

"I've been thinking about you."

"Want some company?"

Keep checking on your people, including the ones who usually seem like they have everything handled. by @6_ft_over

Turn it up for a cause that matters.

Ska Against Suicide will be at Small's Bar on October 10 for a night of live music benefiting Six Feet Over.

Come out, catch some great bands, make some noise, and support suicide prevention and a community that shows up for people through grief and loss.
