Ep.1: She's a mom. A teacher. A friend. And somewhere in the middle of all that sweet chaos, she's making time for herself. ❤️
Meet one of Vernon's real people who make up our World. Her story is a reminder that we're all working on something, and we don't have to do it alone.

This is what our Member Spotlight series is all about. Real local Okanagan people, real stories, the little wins that deserve a spotlight, and the reasons we keep showing up.

And now we're asking... Who's next? 👀

Every member has a story worth telling. We'd love to hear yours.

Think you or someone you know would be a great fit for our next Member Spotlight? Tag yourself or them below. No acting skills required! This is all shot authentically.

Selected candidates will receive the a 3 month credit to their membership, our badge of belonging to this community with free apparel from @worldactiveco (as seen in this video), and a professionally shot and edited spotlight video as well as 3x reels for socials in partnership with and courtesy of @worldactiveco.

Tag yourself or someone you think would be a great fit, below. Let's show the world what makes our World special.

𝕄𝔼ℕ𝕋𝔸𝕃 ℍ𝔼𝔸𝕃𝕋ℍ 𝕄𝔸𝕋𝕋𝔼ℝ𝕊 🤍

🤍 Support our HYROX fundraiser- link is in my bio!

This Thanksgiving weekend, I’m feeling especially grateful for the life I get to live, the little boy I get to raise, the people I love, and the ability to move my body and challenge myself in ways that bring me so much joy.

But I also know that not everyone is heading into this weekend feeling grateful, happy, or okay. Sometimes the people who seem to have it all together are carrying things we know nothing about. And sometimes, the people who need support the most are the ones who struggle to ask for it.

That’s one of the reasons Kelly and I are taking on HYROX Vancouver this December — to challenge ourselves, push our limits, and raise money and awareness for mental health.

As a mom and a teacher, I think a lot about the importance of making sure people feel seen, supported, and reminded that they don’t have to navigate the hard stuff alone. Mental health matters, and so does creating a community where asking for help is met with compassion instead of judgment.

My hope is that we can use this journey for something bigger than ourselves. If sharing this helps even one person feel less alone, starts a conversation, or encourages someone to reach out for help, it’s worth it.

If you’re in a position to give, we would be so grateful for your support. And if donating isn’t possible right now, sharing this post or passing along a resource to someone who might need it matters, too.

🤍
