Wednesday KOTD: Nike SB Dunk Low “Space Tiger” (2008) 🐅🌌 Saw my man @6cents break these out yesterday, so had to add em back to the rotation. Inspired by pro skater Randy Colvin’s legendary 1991 World Industries “Space Tiger” deck—known for its black velvet flocking and blacklight-reactive graphics.

Seventeen years later, Nike SB brought that psychedelic, sci-fi vibe to life on a Dunk. Cosmic graphics hit the side panels and toe box, while tiger-inspired details wrap the tongue tag and heel. Loud pops of color throughout—from the red contrast stitching and green outsole to the Ochre Swoosh, bright pink lining, and tiger print insoles—really make this pair pop.

Huge shoutout to my man Mike - @6cents - for this incredible gift. This community continues to blow me away, and this one definitely hit me right in the feels. Truly appreciate you my friend!! 🙏

Originally released in 2003, the “Grunge Pack” leaned into a rugged late-‘80s/early-‘90s aesthetic with factory-distressed leather, ballistic mesh, and earthy tones that looked worn-in right out of the box. Super underrated pair from the early Dunk days.
