With the tail end of the festival circuit closing in, it is with great joy to announce that our film, TRIAL 54, will be hosting private screenings this summer in Pittsburgh and New Jersey! Not enough? TRIAL 54 will be live on our YouTube page on August 21st for an online premiere! Behind the scenes and other news will be on the way as well. Almost a year since we filmed, and we are so happy to finally show the people what we created. Till then, more to follow 🤘🏻

Last week, we had the opportunity to see @delaneyhathawayy and her newest short film, EDGES, at The Lindsey Theater during @3.b.tproductions Diversity in Film night. This film is the 6 Shops first film under another director that we had the pleasure to produce, as well as @montaniproductions first credit as a producer for a narrative short. Our own @davisrohrer was also the director of photography. It is a heartfelt Christmas theme movie that was a joy to see on the big screen. More information on how to see this film in the future will be coming, but for now, please enjoy these screen grabs from the short. YouTube videos and breakdowns are also on the way!

The goal was to make a complex science fiction film in a short weekend, with a production budget under $5,000, and a small crew with multiple locations. It was ambitious, lofty, maybe naive, but pure passion and persistence made it just another day of work.
•
Trial 54 is a short film that takes a new perspective on the question of the human soul. With my history and experience of seeing how Alzheimer’s and dementia can affect those you love, I became obsessed with the idea of knowing that answer, or more importantly; finding out what can happen to somebody when chasing that answer.
•
This film is nothing without the unstoppable cast and crew that was a part of it. You can always make something good by yourself, but you’ll never make something great without a team.

My first reel I’ve made in a while, but the strides that the shop has made have been an incredible blessing. Here is to an active, ambitious, and fulfilling 2026.
•
A HUGE shoutout to @montaniproductions for bringing The 6 Shop and Montani Productions together to make some insane stuff, and to @delaneyhathawayy for giving us our first oppurtunity to help produce a narrative short film, “Edges”.
•
And of course, thank you to all of pur clients and collaborators who have helped make the shop what it is today.
•
For those that don’t know my company: The 6 Shop was created by former, and currently serving members of the U.S. Armed Forces. We are a film making team comprised of passionate filmmakers, who have either served our country, or just want to bring striking and heartfelt storytelling to brands, initiatives, non-profits, and the narrative world. Although the team is not exclusive to military based content, The 6 Shop always remains loyal to its roots, creating non-profit content and workshops for our veterans seeking a skill set in the media arts.
