The movers just left. My large painting made it to Florida successfully!

As a child, I was rigorously trained to become a socialite, (with a specialty in tea-pouring and finger bowl use),
but it never "took".
This is my dream tea party at the Krog tunnel.
I'm thankful for a safe move with family to a fabulous new location, but Cabbagetown will always be in my heart. Love to all my friends in Atlanta.

Many people have asked how I got the name "70dot".
In this photo I was 70. My age at that significant moment, plus "Dot",
(a nickname from my grandchildren), became "70dot": a new signature on my artwork and an Instagram name.
I have been an artist since I was a child. After years of juried shows and art sales, I became fascinated by street art. Our move to Atlanta provided the opportunity for me to paint on cement walls.
Although never a full-fledged street artist, I got my feet wet and I had an absolute ball!
If you want to do something, do it while you can!

2016 Cabbagetown.
Pink Panther meets Krazy Kat.

70dot (novice in street art) paints Krazy Kat, while expert muralist
@letsgopaint (Matt Letrs), paints Pink Panther.

This was in 2016, a vacant lot on the corner of Tye Street and Memorial, touching Cabbagetown.
David Lewis (@wylieandrum) and I obtained permission to paint there. We called it Mural Park.

Krazy Kat was a newspaper comic strip created by
George Herriman. It ran 1913-1944.

Matt was so helpful. Although I never became a "real" street artist, people like him made it such a fun experience!
I was 71.

"Midnight Goes to Cat Heaven".
Midnight and her mate Mr. Bella, along with their two kittens, were our last pets in Cabbagetown.
They had happy, long lives
indoors, having been rescued from a challenging life outdoors.
This art is just whimsical, but I
do believe in a real Heaven.
