#NoMusicFriday

“In this current climate, where the landscape of art and commerce are rapidly changing, we need to ensure that we protect and nurture our next generation of young creative talent.

I was lucky to start my musical journey just before the rise of MP3’s threatened to derail the music industry - we navigated that storm, but must continue to understand the value, craft, time, dedication and passion that go into creating songs in this age of streaming where we’re bombarded by choice - and ask ourselves the important question: WHERE WILL THE NEXT WAVE OF IVOR NOVELLO AND GRAMMY WINNING ARTISTS COME FROM IF THE BARRIER TO ENTRY WITHIN MUSIC BECOMES AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB FOR THE PRIVILEGED?” @frasertsmith
