Mahkai Phillip is putting everyone on notice😳

The Canadian @ta_seawolvesfb WR has an expansive catch radius, standout body control and the coordination to attack the ball above the defence.

This is a name you’ll want to remember👀 by @730scouting

Texas Longhorns OL Melvin Siani spent the August long weekend running a free youth football camp back home in Burlington, Ont.: 25 volunteers, about 120 kids, his old high school gridiron at Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School, and Chick-fil-A.

Free youth football camps run by Power Four student-athletes aren't exactly common in Canada, so this one mattered. He wasn't hunting for the next 5-star recruit. He just wanted one kid to catch the bug the way he did.

For Texas OL (and non-tariffed Canadian export) Melvin Siani, run-blocking isn't just about serving full-stack pancakes — it's several split-second reads.

The Hamilton, Ont., product breaks it down as two things working together: the instinct to physically dominate the guy across from him (folding a 300-lb man into lawn furniture like the 1st clip), and the football IQ to diagnose the defensive front before the QB even snaps the ball. That combo, Siani says, is what turns a good block into an explosive play.

Steak, potatoes, eggs. And a whole lot of pancake blocks.

Hamilton's own Melvin Siani talks his @melvinbakes days, protecting the next installment of the Manning family legacy, and forming one of college football's best offensive tackle duos with Trevor Goosby.

New episode drops Monday morning.

#DoubleMajor #Longhorns #HamiltonOntario #CanadianFootball #CollegeFootball Melvin Siani holds up both hands in front of him in the shape of horns, the hook 'em sign, while wearing his University of Texas Longhorns football uniform and posing for a photo. X post text from Alex McComb reads: "Before protecting Arch Manning, before building a top tandem with Trevor Goosby, before Texas ... ... there was a kid in Hamilton running a cooking Instagram account out of his mom's kitchen. Melvin Siani is on Ep7 of Double Major on Monday morning." by @730scouting

Justin Dillon watched Bryce Butler play a Friday night lights game in the GTA, sat down next to his dad and told him his son had already outgrown his level of competition. It was time to get him south.

Bryce breaks down how that one conversation with 730 Scouting's Justin Dillon set his whole path in motion, from Toronto to Connecticut to Kansas to Washington and now Texas.

"I was eating, like, one sandwich a day."

That's Canadian DL Bryce Butler describing the 2-year stretch during his JUCO years at Garden City Community College in Kansas — the same school seen on some Last Chance U episodes in seasons 3 & 4 — where he dropped from 300 to 255 pounds chasing a shot at D1 football.

The Toronto product turned that grind into a spot at Washington for 2 years, and now a big role on one of the best defensive fronts in college football. Now he's got his sights set on 2026 and beyond.

Episode 6 of Double Major available on Monday morning. 🎙️

X post text from Alex McComb reads: "Toronto to Lubbock, Texas — the long way. Bryce Butler grinded through 2 JUCO years to get his D1 shot. In 2026, the Canadian DL is on one of the best fronts in all of college football at Texas Tech. He's on Ep6 of Double Major on Monday morning." by @730scouting
