Well... It's been a while. It occured to me recently that I need to post these before the next event happens. 😂 I was commissioned to construct a pair for a guy that went to the 2024 Kentucky Derby. The only insight I was given, is that his favorite colors are blue and orange. After some research, I found a horse named, Fierceness whose jockey wears the colors blue and orange. I got to work and sourced the fabrics. I used royal blue Italian suede and brown Italian suede from @districtleathersupply via @atlanticaleather, orange grade 1 Burmese python from @panamleathers, and for the liner, royal blue Italian lambskin leather from @district_leathers. I chose the gum bottom sole to blend all 3 colors and not distract from the overall look. Lastly, the clean embroidery of the jockey's jersey was done by my homeboy, Mikey at @sewdiego. I'll be releasing more content soon. It's been non stop behind the scenes work and a lot of learning the past 6 months, so posting content had to wait while. This #custom #luxe pair is one of my favorites.  I was commissioned to make these to match @kattwilliams electric #rollsroyce Spectre.  I carefully lined up the scales to make sure the transitions closed and the shoes mirror match each other.  They turned out great!  I used gray grade 1 Burmese python for the upper and black grade 1 Burmese python for the swooshes from @panamleathers.  The tongue and liner are very high quality taxi yellow Italian suede from our brothers at @atlanticaleather.  This pair was no easy task and anyone that makes an entire python pair of shoes can attest to this.  It requires a lot of patience.  I appreciate the continued support, brother!   Let me know what you think.  On to the next one... I finally finished the patent leather and python AJ 1 inspired #custom golf #sneakers.  It seems like these took forever to finish.  😂 We've had a lot going on at the shop the last few months and juggling a lot of projects.  We're always creating.  🙂 These #luxe customs are made with red grade 1 Burmese python from @panamleathers paired with white luxe patent goat leather, and luxe red Nappa Italian lambskin for the liner from @district_leathers.  The embroidery was done in-house.  My client, @frosty_fye1911 is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity so naturally he wanted these colors and the signature K on them as well.  Once he got them in hand he told me they most likely won't be worn for golfing. 😂 I'm pleased he's satisfied.  Let me know what you think in the comments.  On to the next one.
