This one was hard to say out loud.
I think we talk a lot about betting on yourself after the bet has already paid off.
When the risk has become the success story.
When the scary decision has become “the best decision I ever made.”
When hindsight makes everything look a little more certain than it actually was.
But I wanted to remember what it felt like here.
In the middle.
While I’m still scared.
While I still don’t know how this turns out.
While I’m building something I deeply believe in without any proof that believing in it will be enough.
This summer kicked my ass.
But somewhere between fear and becoming, I stopped asking fear for permission.
8010 exists because I chose to find out.

Unfortunately, everything is nail art to me now.
I’ll see something completely unrelated to nails and my brain immediately starts pulling it apart.
The colors, the texture, the weird little detail nobody else was probably paying attention to.
And then my brain does that thing.
…but what if it did?
I think that might be my favorite part of nail art.
Not recreating what already exists on nails, but taking something from somewhere completely different and figuring out how to translate the feeling of it onto ten tiny canvases.
Sometimes literally, sometimes loosely, sometimes it turns into something else entirely.
I never really know where the next idea is going to come from.
I think I like it that way.

Apparently building a tiny nail atelier is 40% assembling things, 30% returning things, and 30% realizing I own way more gel than I thought. 😂
The first risers hung over the shelving, So back they went.
Found ones that actually fit the shelves, started getting the gel collection into its new home, discovered that my MAYOUR @mayour_korea collection has apparently been multiplying when I wasn’t looking.
Every time I come here, one more piece clicks into place.
Still figuring it out, Still moving things around,
Still being intentional about what fits in this space.
But little by little, it’s starting to feel less like a blank canvas and more like 8010 Nails. 🌸
