Last fall I bought materials for a Minion trunk bag and made a flower pump bag too. I've had enough food (bananas!) destroyed by my pump, so I moved it outside the bag. Last night i wanted another handlebar bag for more food so I used the Minion materials for another Minion. by @802from217

Some days are luckier than others. Today was definitely our lucky day. Bowie found it before I did but I'm certain it was sleeping. After we passed it stretched out and it's tail rose to the sky. Cute little stinker. by @802from217

It's a big day at the Shurlow coop. It's move in day. The 4 chicken-lettes are on the other side of the temporary wall. They will stay separate until the chicken littles become chicken normals. Our porch will get cleaned and usable once more. by @802from217

Never on a million years did I ever think I would write an obituary for a fucking chicken but here I am. We traditionally have not named our chickens (until Jess changed that with our current batch) but Grandma Bock Bock earned her name by not dieing. Seriously, was this chicken immortal? After 8 or so years Bock Bock has finally flown the fence into chicken afterlife. She pecked her feathered butt a place in my heart by not dieing in like forever, and I will miss the matriarch of our coop, even if she sat squarely at the bottom of the pecking order. I'm happy for her that she stubornly finally called it a day. Thanks for sticking around so fucking long. by @802from217

I haven't posted any pics of our chick's because it's been cold here and they are spending most their time under the incubator (the orange thing has just enough heat on the underside). We got a lavender Orphington, barred rock, blue laced gold wyandotte and a blue australorp. Apparently we were in a mood for the blue hues. by @802from217
