A little behind on the post but the other weekend I headed down to @gadsdenshootingcenter where @bozedoug put on an absolutely awesome MOST Rimfire match in the woods!! These matches are always tricky! Hard to read winds and what I believe to be Voodoo magic make these matches very interesting, but always a blast! Thank you Doug for an incredible event! The weather was amazing, along with great guys in my squad made for a finale to remember! I started out the day a little rough with some data issues which cost me some points! By stage three things were dialed and I started gaining some ground, not nearly as much as I had hoped but still finished pretty decent! HUGE shout out to @april_weatherby for all her hard work and dedication to planning this event, putting together a prize table and amazing food for the shooters! THANK YOU APRIL!! This is my first full season running my @l3i_design Swarm-22 and it has been great, when I say this rifle has been flawless I mean flawless, I’ve reached 12,000 rounds through it and I have had zero issues and it absolutely hammers!! Thank you to all the amazing companies that have supported me through the years and the new ones that gave me a chance this year! Without you all I wouldn’t be able to chase this dream like I do and for that I’m forever grateful! @l3i_design, @apex_optics, @spexlitefillers, @armageddongear, @caples_precision, @leofotooutdoors, @llcote1986 @182sapperz @coldboreinstitutions_llc Thank you to each and every one of you! You’re some of the best people I’ve ever met and it’s truly a blessing to work with and represent all of you!! Looking forward for the 2027 season and to continue working with you all!! Can’t thank you all enough!! Next stop will be K&M for the @precisionrifleseries @prs_rimfire national finale in Tennessee!! See you there and don’t forget to come check out the L3i side stage!! by @802precision

L3i Hyve chassis @apex_optics Rival scope @trigger.tech diamond flat face trigger @auderersm scope mount @mkmachining scope accessories @accutac BR4 bipod @preece_precision Stinger break (coming soon) lol Rimfire build- L3i Swarm-22 built on out Stinger action (been the best Rimfire I’ve ran in this sport!) L3i Hyve chassis Apex Optics Rival scope Trigger Tech gold diamond flat face trigger Audere scope mount MK Machining scope accessories Both rifles will always be supported by @armageddongear bags filled with @spexlitefillers bag fill!! When you want stability there’s no better combo out there! Cerakote on the Stinger was done by @rcaples_1 over @caples_precision and he knocked it out of the park! He will be doing my chassis for the 6GT as well and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with! If you want your rifle to stand out in the crowd he’s the man for the job!! by @802precision

This weekend concluded the Midwest @prs_rimfire season and what a year it’s been! The finale was a great match, tho the heat definitely got to a lot of people! With a heat index of 114° and a migraine kicking my butt halfway through the day it was not the performance I was hoping for! Refusing to quit and let it get the better of me I pulled myself together and managed to place 29th out of 80 shooters! To my surprise it was better than expected! It was a great Cof and definitely tricky targets on some stages! I had a great squad full of buddies and some new faces I had never shot with and let me tell you, if it wasn’t for those fellas I don’t think I would have lasted all day! Overall this season was a tough one for me, with some rough news from back home getting to my head and making some matches almost impossible to focus at I still managed to finish 30th overall in the Midwest and 246 in the nation! I’ve learned many lessons this year and over the winter there will be some serious training going on and hopefully come back next year better and more focused! This year was my first full season with my L3i Swarm-22 rifle and I couldn’t be happier! It ran flawless all season, thousands of rounds, and continued abuse! These rifles hammer and I can’t recommend them enough!! To @l3i_design, @apex_optics, @spexlitefillers, @armageddongear, @caples_precision, @leofotousa, @l.l.cote, @182sapperz, and @coldboreinstitutions_llc thank you all for the continued love and support you have given me! Without each and every one of you I wouldn’t be where I am today! Between the amazing products, awesome people you all are, and the support that helps me strive to be better I truly can’t thank you all enough! Not only are you all sponsors but I’ve been lucky enough to build a relationship and friendship with all of you and that is where I’m truly blessed! I hope to be able to keep representing each and every one of you through this journey!! To all my friends I’ve met doing this, thank you to each and every one of you! It’s been amazing getting to travel this country and meet so many great people! Can’t wait to shoot some matches with you all by @802precision

Not all addictions are bad lol These two rifles have been an absolute dream to compete with this year! They have proven to be some of the most accurate and reliable rifles I’ve ever owned! Next season I will be putting the new @l3i_design Swarm-6GT to use and I can’t wait to see how it performs! It will be a full season running two complete L3i rifles and I’m looking forward to it! My current center fire rifle will become a back up/loaner rifle! I also will have two complete Rimfire loaners as well, one being a full L3i Pro Comp CZ457 and the other is a custom L3i Bergara B14r! If you’re new to the sport and want to try it out (either center fire or Rimfire) reach out to me and I’ll set you up! Only thing… I guarantee that you will get addicted 😂🤣 Build specs on rifles in video Center Fire: Chassis: @l3i_design Hyve Action: @kelblyrifles Atlas Tactical Barrel: @bartleinbarrelsinc spun up by @5x5precision, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor 1:7.5 twist 24” MTU+ Trigger: @trigger.tech diamond flat shoe Optic: @apex_optics Rival Scope Mount: @auderersm Scope accessories: @mkmachining Muzzle break: @preece_precision Stinger 5 port Magazines: @grayopscnc AW mags Rimfire: Action/Barrel: L3i Stinger barreled action Chassis: L3i Hyve Trigger: Trigger Tech Diamond gold Scope Mount: Audere Scope accessories: MK Machining Optic: Apex Optics Rival Magazines: L3i billet 17rnd Stinger mags With good rifles you need a solid shooting bag set up! For me there’s nothing better than the @armageddongear Shmedium and Plus1 Game Changer filled with @spexlitefillers Code3 and 2511 fill! Pair that up with @caples_precision bag wax and it’s as solid as it gets! With this season slowly coming to an end I can’t wait for next year to try out my new center fire rifle at matches and hope to help new shooters get into @precisionrifleseries and @prs_rimfire with the loaners I’ll have available!! by @802precision

I’ve tried several different scope mounts along my journey in @precisionrifleseries and @prs_rimfire and hands down my favorite has been the @auderersm one piece scope mounts! They are absolutely incredibly machined, the fit and finish is beautiful and to top it off they are down right sexy! Specially the burnt bronze color that seems to be a unicorn to get your hands on! Anyone that knows me knows I’m far from gentle on my equipment and these mounts can definitely take a beating! I’ve traveled all over the country, shot countless matches, and banged my rifle around more times than I can count and one thing I know for certain is my optic isn’t going to be off and my mount will stay solid! Can’t recommend them enough!! I have zero association with @auderersm just an extremely happy customer that believes heavily in their optic mounts! If you are looking to try one out hit up @mkmachining and they’ll take care of you!! by @802precision

This past weekend I stepped out of my comfort zone with @prs_rimfire and decided to try out my first @precisionrifleseries two day Manners Mayhem Pro center fire match @gaprecision Let’s just say… it was humbling! This was definitely one of the most difficult matches I’ve ever shot! Day one was rough, couple serious mental errors that I simply couldn’t shake took me completely out of the game and it showed! The weather was hot, the day was long and day one seriously whooped me! Day two however I was able to come back with a clear head and shoot extremely better than day one and climbing the ranks almost 20 spots to finish 44th out of 80 shooters! Not quite my goal, however with the absolute stacked roster that competed this weekend I’m happy! All of my gear was solid! I know I’ve claimed the Hyve chassis is awesome for rimfire and it is! BUT when it comes to center fire these chassis are where it’s at! I’m shooting a @kelblyrifles Atlas tactical action with a MTU+ @bartleinbarrelsinc 6.5 Creedmoor chambered by @5x5precision, overall rifle weighs 24lbs and paired with a @preece_precision Stinger break it just doesn’t move! The low bore axis of the Hyve is a recoil killer! I can’t thank all of my sponsors for all the amazing equipment they make! @l3i_design @apex_optics @armageddongear @spexlitefillers @leofotooutdoors @caples_precision @coldboreinstitutions_llc @l.l.cote @182sapperz I can’t thank all of you enough for your continued support throughout my shooting career and being able to represent all of you and branch out and try new matches!! Thank you to the @mannersstocks crew for all you did for this match! Specially the amazing food you prepared for us!! Thank you to all the other companies and food services that donated to this match! The prizes and food were incredible! Thank you @armageddongear for the hunting bino chest rig you donated to the prize table that I snagged!! Thank you Laurie Kokoruda and @bryan.sikes for the great course of fire! And last but surely not least thank you @a10xrifle for the incredible range you provide!! by @802precision

For the people that have reached out asking about what my set up is this year and how I like it, here’s the breakdown! @l3i_design Stinger barreled action, Hyve chassis, Billet magazines, Mlok Garmin Chrono mount, and magazine carriers @apex_optics Rival 4-32x56 optic @armageddongear Schmedium and Plus1 bags filled with @spexlitefillers 2511 and Code3 (best bag/fill combo there is) @leofotooutdoors and @mtn.forged S3 Juggernaut tripod @mkmachining and @auderersm scope mount and scope accessories @trigger.tech gold diamond flat shoe trigger @mdttac21 timer, level, and bipod @caples_precision bag wax, gun cleaner, gun oil, and Cerakote work @coldboreinstitutions_llc and @l.l.cote / @182sapperz for being my New England guys back home and supporting me every way you can! This has proven to be my most consistent rifle set up to date! I’m several thousand rounds in and the Stinger just keeps performing! With every range trip it gets smoother and absolutely hammers! The Apex Rival definitely does its job with showing me what’s going on down range and has become one of my favorite optics I’ve owned! When it comes to stability between the Hyve chassis and AG/SpexLite bag combo it’s as solid as it gets, if I miss it’s not the rifle or bags fault that’s for sure! It’s been a bit of a learning curve season switching over to a completely new set up but it’s absolutely proven itself to me and I have the utmost confidence in this rifle and that’s a HUGE part in this game!! Id like to give a BIG shout out to all my sponsors that helped make this build a reality and supporting me on this journey! Thank you to all the other companies that make the other great products I use and trust on my rifles! With the 2026 season coming to an end in a few months I can’t wait to get more practice time behind this rifle and see what 2027 brings!! by @802precision

Yesterday was qualifier day! Had a great time @gaprecision range shooting the @precisionrifleseries Rimfire qualifier match! Winds were calm but alil switchy at times the difficulty came from high movement stages or stages designed to really make you focus and made for a great COF! I started out my day strong only dropping a couple points within my first few stages… then came the struggle! Went into stage 5 confident and ready to rock! Took my first shot and no clue where it went, sent the next several rounds trying to spot my misses with no luck, zeroing the stage! That definitely hurt the spirits but it happens, nothing you can do but focus on the next stage and try to gain some ground! I fought like hell to make sure my last few stages of the day were solid and they were! Sadly that zero really hurt my placement and with it being a tight match places were determined by only a few impacts! I placed 24th overall for the day, not exactly where I was hoping but overall it was a blast of a day and besides that one stage I was as happy as it gets with my shooting! Shout out to @kestrelballistics this was my first match with my new WEZ 5700 and man is it fast! Transferred my profiles over to it the night before the match and it’s like I was never down and out but this time everything loads up way quicker! As always thank you to all my incredible sponsors that support me doing what I love!! All of my gear ran absolutely incredible and having full confidence in your set up is one of the most important parts of this game and I definitely trust everything I run to run perfect every time! @l3i_design Stinger barreled action, Hyve chassis, billet magazines @apex_optics Rival 4-32x56 @spexlitefillers 2511 and Code3 bag fill @armageddongear Schmedium game changer, Tripod Caddy, Garmin Xero case @leofotooutdoors S2 Juggernaut tripod @caples_precision Bag wax, gun cleaner, gun oil, Cerakote work @coldboreinstitutions_llc for anything I ever need to order by @802precision

A couple weekends ago when I was down @twistedbarrel_precision for the @guardianlongrange match everything was going well on day one with all my equipment… day two however was a different story! After my first stage of the day I realized my data was off and needing to be adjusted. oddly my settings wouldn’t save, my kestrel just randomly stopped saving settings! Full panic mode sets in as it’s a vital tool in my range bag! Thankfully I had my data written down from the day before and I was able to recover for the day! I reached out to @kestrelballistics on IG figuring, well it’s Sunday morning I’ll get it sent out now so on Monday they should see my request… 10min later I had a reply! The rep walked me through all the troubleshooting steps trying to help me the best he could and by the end of the conversation it was determined best to send my unit back in! He gave me a couple different options of getting a direct replacement of my 5700 Elite or upgrading to the new WEZ model so naturally I upgraded!! By 11am Monday morning my order was confirmed! After a few days they reached out to me apologizing that something happened internally and my order wasn’t processed in time to get my new unit to me before my next match, as a sorry they sent me this awesome hoodie!! It’s this kind of customer service and dedication to helping their customers that makes me happy to run Kestrel equipment, my other unit had been flawless for years and it’s time had come and I’m excited to give the new WEZ version a go!! Thank you Kestrel for the awesome support and hooking me up with the new swag!! I’m not affiliated with Kestrel just a customer who is extremely grateful for this kind of support to the community!! by @802precision

A little late posting this but I wanted to take some time to reflect on how amazing this event truly was!! Last weekend I headed down to @twistedbarrel_precision to not only shoot my first two day center fire match but also my first @guardianlongrange match, and let me tell you it was hands down the most fun I have every had!! To Steve, The Guardian crew, and the guys at Twisted Barrel your dedication, drive, and passion for not only the sport but for the mission in which Guardian stands for does not go unnoticed! You all are amazing people and your commitment truly shows! Thank you for an awesome match and all that you do!! Day one was a normal match scored as individual shooters and I had an awesome day! My rifle was shooting better than I could ever ask for and I was performing as well as I could possibly hope for and finished 7th overall! Day two was team day where they fold the rankings in half and pair up top shooters with the lower finishing shooters so they can get help and coaching, hands down the coolest experience I’ve had! My teammate was a young man from New York who had never shot a PRS match before! Before the stages started we spent some time working on fundamentals and position building and let me tell you, he picked it up quick and absolutely crushed it! Seeing the excitement on his face ringing steel out to 1000 yards was beyond rewarding knowing I was able to help him all throughout the day!! We both had our struggles but nonetheless it was an amazing day! To top it off and to both of our surprise we took 2nd place team and the look on his face was priceless! If you have never shot a Guardian match it needs to be on your bucket list! It’s unlike any other match you’ve shot and I promise you’ll leave with big smiles and new friendships made!! As always thank you to all my incredible sponsors and companies who make all the gear I use and trust to perform to the best of my ability! @l3i_design @spexlitefillers @armageddongear @apex_optics @caples_precision @coldboreinstitutions_llc @leofotooutdoors taken in Twisted Barrel Precision LLC by @802precision
