The long awaited @petiteusa post!!

This week ended up being wayyyyy more than pageant for me. Ive seen soo many of these women online through their social media and this week was the first time meeting in person. It's truly an amazing experience meeting the people you have looked up for for almost a year and they're just as amazing in real life.

To my southern sisters, I loved meeting all of you guys and seeing how far you've come. Even if you didn't place, you will always be a winner in my heart.

To the 2025 court, youve shown what it means to be a queen. You guys have undoubtedly shown what it means to be yourself while wearing the crown. You didnt comprise who you were to fit into the box, you created new standards that future queens to come will meet.

Without seeing the amazing now Miss Universal Petite's "Crowned and Clueless" series (which everyone should watch), I would have never found petite USA, the courage to wear my natural hair on a national stage, or the mindset that you do not need to fit norms to be a winner. (Also thank you so so much for the crown pin and for signing my book it means so much to me🩷)

Petite USA put on an amazing production this year and gifted a whole bunch of swag for us delegates. Aside from my petite USA swag, thank you Teen New England Petite for the good luck turtle, Miss Georgia Petite for the earrings, Teen Arizona Petite for my sparkle party gift, Miss South Carolina Petite and Mrs Universal Jamaica Petite for offering to cosch me in the future, and Cameo and Hope Sheridan for the under eye masks.

I appreciate all of the love, support, and congratulations I've gotten over the last couple of days and it really means the world to me.

Day 7- Why Petite USA?

I chose Petite USA because its an opportunity for not only me, but women of all ages, to participate in a pageant specifically tailored for shorter women. I have a background in modeling and when I found out you have to be above 5'7 or higher to just be a runway model. Honestly, I was really upset so when I found Petite USA I knew this was something for me.

Day 6- Wardrobe sneak peek

For today's post, I'm showing you guys the jewelry you guys can see me in this week! The bracelets are from my mother, the rings from my aunt, the seahorse earring are from High Cotton Uptown, The pearly dangly earring are from TJMaxx, the sparkly earring are from my grandmothers store, the blue earrings are from dazzles, and the jhumka earring are from Amazon!!

Day 5- Favorite areas of competition

Although this is my first pageant where each area of competition is judged, I'm super excited for interview! I love talking about my future plans for my platform, things I've done for community service, and all of the things Im involved in! From doing NJROTC Staff interviews, ASPCA interviews, Riverbanks ZooTeens program, and now Petite USA!!

Day 4- Share your platform

My platform is called Sisterhood 2 Serve (S2S) . It's an initiative for young women to better their community through volunteer service. S2S was created by me because I saw a need in my community. There were always things that needed to be done. Through this platform, Ive gotten to be helpful to my community. The biggest thing that we do is refill my city's "blessing boxes". These boxes are put in I place and people can leave food, clothes, and drinks for other to take whenever they need. Currently I am in the process of installing my own blessing box outside of my high school, for he people who live right around the school.

Day 3- Favorite thing about state or region

My favorite thing about South Carolina is the coastal wetlands! South Carolina’s coastal environment is globally recognized as an ecological and biodiversity hotspot. It features over 165 miles of beaches, roughly 40 barrier islands, and complex ecosystems ranging from pristine sandy shores to massive, highly productive estuaries and dusky blackwater swamps. Manufactured Wire Reefs (or MWR's), actively protect and enrich South Carolina's coastal diversity by serving as a multi-functional ecological foundation. Organizations like the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) construct these structures by packing recycled restaurant oyster shells into galvanized wire mesh cages or bags, frequently backing them with natural coconut fibers. SCDNR SCORE (South Carolina Oyster Recycling and Enhancement program) hosts days where you can volunteer to put these MWR'S onto the shoreline. They are mostly held during the weeks so I try my best to go when I can!
