Proof of Life. And cheers to a New Year! To say this year was a whirlwind of the unexpected wouldn’t do it justice. Definitely a year I could never forget. I failed countless times, but I learned so much more. Seeing new places and exploring with the person I love, being there to see my dad beat the odds to walk again, still being able to coach the game that has given me so much, publishing and co-illustrating a book, starting a non-profit, even giving my mom her first tattoo, I never failed to be able to live in the moment. I look forward to what’s to come and welcome 2022 with love and open arms, mask on or not by @804nige
In 2019, I had the amazing opportunity to teach at a workshop in Nairobi, Kenya. This workshop called for new creative techniques, with open discussions about expressing our faith in our art. In doing so, we left learning more than we had prepared to teach and we all grew from that. This inspired us to work with others who were creatively called to express themselves through art. 2020 sidelined our plans to host workshops locally and abroad, but prayerfully we were able to come together again to write and create Thirsty. With a team of multitalented artist we came together to this creative response book. This is a 6 week study of learning new and creative ways to express your personal experiences with your faith through art. …link in bio by @804nige
I am a BLACK MAN!..... I build .... I don't tear down other BLACK MEN! ....I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. (FB only allows 50). Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down. #BuildOrDestroy ❤🖤 COPY AND PASTE 🖤💚 If I tagged you, don't disappoint me!! by @804nige
