Seanathan loves Santa Barbara. Between STUDIO and EOS, he's played 50+ shows since 2020. Via Bandcamp, the Seanathan project has 24 originals and remixes on various labels, totaling 54 releases with self-releases included. He is an active user of a four-to-floor kick pattern (sounds sick, can someone share more about that?), which most often than not, will translate into a sound similar to house, techno, ghetto house, bounce, or trance. If you've attended literally any one of his shows, then you know why he uses these sub-genres as a rule of thumb. He can transport you to a level of energy you didn't know you had after a long work week and too many steins at Biergarten, as well as make you laugh with silly and harmless lyrics that you never thought you'd bop your head to in your life. Or hear while standing next to your company's executive. Siri, play “balls” by @justinjay. But because he is just a chill guy with tons of passion for his craft, his sets are smooth, playful, and simply fun as f**k. So keep up the good work. We love ya, Seanathan! taken in Santa Barbara, California by @80508__

The famous TR-808 drum machine gained popularity in the 80s and was formerly known as the "Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composter". Ironic in its legacy, as its capital gains failed due to a cultural and federal push back of beat-driven music, but the underground music scene bought resale machines to continue utilizing the sounds post discontinuation.

Due to its boundary-pushing capabilities, the machine eventually found its way to the production of hundreds of hit records for decades after its original discontinuation. It's most notable for being a pioneering sound for hip hop and electronic genres.

Come give a warm welcome to the start of summer with Zara, Pinkpantheress, and I at @sevenbarsb on Saturday, May 23rd! 🥳🕶️🌻🌷Starts at 9, ends at the midnight sun! 🕛🌅

But as you can see in slide 2, things won’t be completely warm and sunny: stick around to the later nighttime hours of this month’s Out ‘N Abt and things will cool off -
more lunar, more icy, more electronic 🔈🧊🔋💻
