December social run 👟 Join us for our annual social run, running 8.56km and spelling it out on strava! This run celebrates the beginning of team 8;56 and how important it is to come together as a group. Team 8;56 started off as a small group of people holding one another accountable before Peterborough half marathon and now it’s a pillar to 8;56. Meeting regularly for social runs, fundraising for mental health services within Norfolk but most importantly raising awareness and coming together. 📅 29th December ⏰ 09:00am 📍 Outside the cafe, The Walks, King’s Lynn 👟 8.56km See you there! by @856foundation

✨ Men’s Time at The Dice Box ✨ An evening built around connection, conversation and the simple joy of sitting together over a board game — that’s exactly what this month's Men’s Time is all about. And The Dice Box is the perfect place to bring it to life. Wednesday 11th November 7pm onwards Chris and Stuart from @thediceboxkingslynn capture the heart of it: “Board games have always been part of my life… I’ve seen how games connect people without the need for screens.” "For me, the magic of games is community… That’s what I want this café to be: a space where anyone feels welcome.” That’s the spirit we’re leaning into — no‑pressure, good‑humoured, and an evening of social connection. Exactly the kind of space where men can show up as themselves, relax, and feel part of something. 🎲 Easygoing board games 🤝 Genuine connection 🍻 Warm conversation 💬 A chance to just be in good company No pressure. No expectations. Just a table, a game, and people who get it. Pull up a chair — you’re welcome here. If you'd like to join us please sign up at, it's free to attend https://www.856.org.uk/mens-time by @856foundation
Thursday was our October Support Group at @marriotts_warehouse_trust hosting again. We had 11 Men attending and for the first time this year no one was new to the group. After Lily and Evie had spoken about Spiritual Churches and how they had helped them last month, we had Derek talk about the impact that had made on him and his journey into attending them. Thank you to all who attended Next month we meet on Thursday 26th again at Marriotts Warehouse. Let's keep talking... by @856foundation
Thank you... We would like to thank Snettisham Spiritualist Church for their very kind donation of £500. Emma and her friends at the Church held a Mind, Body and Soul event back in September with the Foundation the beneficiary. It was really nice to meet everyone on Sunday and thank you all for the very warm welcome. This donation supports 35 talking therapy counselling sessions which will provide opportunities for men to talk in a safe space when they need it. As always we are genuinely humbled by all the fundraising that takes place on our behalf and the difference that makes to men in our communities. Let's keep talking... by @856foundation

Men's Peer Support Group Our next peer group meeting is next Thursday 29th October, again at @marriotts_warehouse_trust from 7pm As always this group is a non judgemental safe space for men to be able to connect, chat and listen - there is no pressure for anyone to talk, if just being with the group is a help then that is fine. You will be made more than welcome as we know that often the first steps to coming along can be the hardest ones. Refreshments provided Let's keep talking by @856foundation
