POSTS STORIES REELS

I had to remind myself (a few times) Im not bad, I’m just new.

This was my second time painting a wall with spray, and the first time I tried lining with a can.

Anyone who knows me knows I take a lot of pride in trying to get my lines as crispy as possible. So when I was struggling with the linework on this I was getting down on myself a little bit. This isn’t supposed to be the ugly stage, it’s supposed to be the finishing touch!

As I continued though and went back over it and cleaned it up, it started to come together. I know I can do better, but that comes with more practice.

Thanks so much to @donkeeboy for including me on this opportunity alongside him and so many other talented artists.

And thank you to @barbythewayside for the wall. Everyone go check out their spot to see mine and the other murals and get some top of the line cocktails.

I hope you all like the wall ✌🏻

4 days of painting, done.
I was hoping to do it in 3, but put the finishing touches on today and will share some still shots and more info on this project in the future!
Until then, what’s your favorite element of it?

This is one of the coolest things I’ve had the chance to do in a while. @thefreewalls put on their second live painting event at @connieswayside with @thegoodmarkethtx hosting a market as well.
It was the first mural I’ve had a chance to do in 2025 and outside of getting a top level sunburn it was one hell of a day painting!
Thanks to @mistr_g walking me through spraying my first time and bailing me out on a few hiccups.
Keep your eyes peeled on future events like this, they do a great job and they get an insane lineup of premiere artists.
And go to Connie’s to check out all the insane other murals that others put up!

A few of the many meals from our recent trip.
I started doodling them and did so with a limited color palette. Next time I think I want to do in a physical book and with more colors. by @87collective

I got a couple recent rolls developed. Some are on @kodak Ultramax, and the rest/majority are on Metropolis. I really dislike the results haha. I won’t be buying again, it’s way too muted for me.

Majority of shots from a recent trip to New York, and a few other spread around Houston, Chicago and central IL.

Nothing better than the final lines to pull a piece together. Line work is my favorite part, what do you think? Do you like painting the lines? @precise.art_ brushes always the play! #popartists #artprocess #artprocessvideo #popartstyle #lineworkart by @87collective

!!FOUND!!
Had no intentions to do this again so quickly but have gotten a ton of love for it recently. And I wanted to return it and hopefully give someone some decor for their home.
Making accessible art is fun and feels good for sure and hopefully gets me in front of some new collectors too! Share and repost if you like it too! Thanks #popartstyle #freeart #houstonartist #popartist #thingstodohouston by @87collective

Hold the Line
24”x24”
Acrylic on Canvas

This is the first time I’ve painted on canvas in months. Unfortunately art for whatever reason had become stressful and not an escape. Even to the point where if I would even think about what to paint or draw I would get overwhelmed. So I did nothing.

Finishing this piece is a small step of progress and I’m happy with how it turned out. Also was relieved I can still lay down some decent lines.

Come out and check out the show today and if you like the painting, and are interested reach out! Or just share and repost even if that’s in your wheelhouse. #popart #houstonart #popartist #houstonart #thingstodohouston by @87collective
