In May of this year I decided I was ready to lose weight again. A few years ago I was on a mission to lose weight and then a tragic death and grief knocked the wind out of me….i gained everything plus some back, when I went to the doctor I was back to 238lbs far from where I wanted to be, and I was not doing myself any favors. Knees hurt, feet hurt, everything hurt. So I got with the dr and got meds going, ones I had used 10ish years ago to accomplish weight loss. This time was different. I’m down close to 40lbs now, and I still have a heck of a way to go. Another 30-40lbs but this is just October. I’m only 4.5/5 months into the journey. And I know it takes time, it takes patience, it takes perseverance. And it also takes putting yourself first, health wise. And this time I’m trying harder and paying attention more. I want to see more birthdays, more anniversaries, more grandchildren, more life….so the first picture is May, the other is today. I’m doing this for me. #weightloss #weightlossupdate #smile #goalgetter #progress by @87savymarie
