JMX ROUND 6 HOKKAIDO

It was a tough day with rain and challenging track conditions.

The race didn’t go the way I wanted, and I crashed a little too many times.

In Moto 1, running 10th place before crashing on the 2nd lap. After dropping to dead last, finish in 13th place.
Official result shows me as 28th (DNF)😂

Moto 2 was a similar story. I got a poor start, crashed, and ended up finishing 14th.

The results weren’t what I was aiming for, but one thing is certain—I had an absolute blast riding. It was also a great opportunity to test the suspension, and we got some decent data. We’ll take what we learned and come back again next time.

The special gear from Alpinestars was amazing once again🤩

During one of my crashes, the handlebar hit my chest hard, and the (Alpinestars )A-5 PLASMA Chest Protector really protected me. I’m thankful to have such great protection🪬

My time at Kawasaki come to an end.
I really enjoy my time there and can’t thank everybody enough.

Everything didnt go to the plan I want to do with production bike but, I did my best.

I had the opportunity to spend 5 valuable years with Romain and thank you for let me be a part of your journey to 2nd MXGP titles🏆🤩

I really like to thanks Antti, everytime when we go to Europe you are always looking after me and kawi staff from Japan.
All the hard work you do for the team you deserve this MXGP title🫡

Also everyone from the team for all the hard work you guys put in day in and day out.
great job guys and congratulations to everyone🙏

And lastly everyone in the kawasaki factory team🇺🇸 for all the help you guys did and gave me a lot of ideas about the bike as well.
I’m very excited to see how the bike is going to work next season for you guys.

今契約を持ちましてカワサキを去る事になりました。
2019年に春日井さんに声を掛けていただき今日まで一緒に仕事をして来れた事は自分の今までの人生において大変貴重な時間でした。
本当にありがとうございます。

良いバイクを作りたい、MXGPでチャンピオンを取りたいと言う気持ちに動かされました。

バイク開発に関しましてはすべての事ができなかったですが、カワサキの皆様、春日井さん達の目標でもあった、世界チャンピオンを奪取するという目標に対して微力ながら貢献できたという事は自分の中でも嬉しい思い出です。

加えてカワサキMXGPチーム、アメリカのファクトリーチーム、アメリカR&D、チームスタッフの皆様のおかげでまた自分が成長できました。

5年間お世話になったカワサキを離れると言う事は正直寂しい気持ちもありますが、自分の中の次なる大きな目標の為頑張りたい思います。

プロの世界に入って30年経ちましたが、今もなお第一線で活躍させていただけているのは仙台でのベースを作ってくれた関社長のお陰であり、感謝してもしきれません。
ありがとうございます。
