VEEJAY FLORESCA SS27 PRESENTATION

Filipino Soul, New York Energy

Photographing this collection felt personal in a way I did not expect.
Seeing Filipino fabrics, textures, and familiar details reimagined through a western lens felt like seeing pieces of an identity I have spent my own life trying to understand.
Veejay’s work feels like a love letter to the experience of being Filipina, carrying where you come from while becoming who you are. She does more than create clothing. She tells a story of heritage, identity, and finding home between two worlds. A glimpse into the heart of a Filipina designer making her mark in New York.
