15 YEARS OF 8BAR X GABRIEL KLEIST To celebrate 15 years of 8bar, we worked together with artist and designer @gabrielkleist to transform one of our bikes into a unique piece of art. His expressive artwork flows across the frame, fork and even the rims. Bold brushstrokes in mint, green and black meet fine orange details, while parts of the titanium frame remain visible underneath. The result is more than a custom bike. It is a rideable artwork that combines cycling, craftsmanship and creativity. This collaboration represents what 8bar has always stood for: individuality, bold ideas and the freedom to create something different. Thank you, Gabriel, for bringing your vision to this very special anniversary bike. 15 YEARS OF 8BAR. 02 / KRZBERG. / 2011 MY LEGS ARE MY GEARS. One gear. Clean lines. A minimalist design. The KRZBERG was the first bike we developed and the starting point of our story. Named after Kreuzberg, the Berlin district where it all began, it brought our idea of cycling to life: simple, personal and fun. The singlespeed setup kept things stripped back to the essentials. Choose your colours, build it your way and let your legs do the rest. Our slogan back then said it all: MY LEGS ARE MY GEARS. The KRZBERG holds a special place in our history. It was our first model and introduced the approach to design and customization that still shapes 8bar today. Do you remember your first singlespeed ride? Took some pics, just because 📸 Back in August, I joined @bananamamaboom on her adventure of hand-painting a bike frame for @8barbikes to celebrate their 15th birthday. The artistic result turned out amazing! You could see it in Berlin and in social media content. When Stefan Schott founded 8bar, he had already spent years racing bikes and build them for him and his friends from scratch. Together with a collective of friends who shared his passion, he created a brand inspired by the progressive, fun and easygoing spirit of Berlin. From the beginning, customization has been at the heart of 8bar. You bring your ideas, your style and the way you want to ride. We bring our experience and passion for building bikes. Each bike is a co creation between you and 8bar. From the colour of the frame to the choice of components, your decisions make it yours. 15 YEARS OF 8BAR 🖤 What a night! Together with all of you, we celebrated 15 years of 8bar, unveiled our two new collaboration bikes, honoured the winners of our Community Rides and brought the 8bar Showroom to life one final time. A huge thank you to @gabrielkleist and @bananamamaboom for creating these two very special collaboration bikes with us. For many years, this place was so much more than just a showroom. It was a meeting point, the start and finish of countless rides and an important part of our story. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. Thank you to our team, our partners, our friends and the entire 8bar Community. None of the past 15 years would have been possible without you. We are closing this chapter with countless great memories and looking forward to everything that comes next. The showroom closes. The story continues.
