(1) This tshirt is the same graphic piece as the clean cut tee, but it was a prototype print that i thought turned out cool, I added some PATINA to it by using a dremel tool and running over it with a 1959 Ford Edsel (yes i’m serious).
(2) The LUNATION Toque is brushed with a metal comb to lengthen the “hairs” it has. I also sewed countless seashells I’ve found during my travels onto the piece. Building into the motif of PATINA.

Here you can see a hand-carved lino print design with my leaf wizard graphic, I also included lighter caps on the actual hood as a motif the collection (3). Normally this lighter idea was an addition made by punks, metal heads, or smokers to show their community to the world in a form of radical self expression for their time.

The most notable visual feature about this piece is using the beads from belly dancing attire - I also overdyed them black before washing them by hand very aggressively, creating some natural streaks in the dye. I also have a car tie down belt inside of the waistline of the pants that hangs far down from the waist.

This piece repurposes a beautiful pair of Levi’s 501s from the 70s (as far as my research could find. With some help, there was a panel of denim created where we cut out the V shape and inserted it into the side of the pants. There is also a secret pocket that can be accessed via breakable velcro bottom in the regular pants pocket - perfect for stashing your NSFW goods!

Artifacts that come from the ocean are a massive motif in both this collection and my art as a whole. Growing up with hundreds or even thousands of experiences near a large body of water or coast. These necklaces center the power of time and how truly small we are in the scope of our world and oceans.

905minds presents: Spring/Summer 2025 «PATINA» (4/20/25)

PATINA • a tarnish in color on the outer surface of a material, forming from time and most commonly found on copper, or inside of a coffee cup.

This collection consists of 1 new handcut lino print, 1 hoodie, 2 t shirts, 3 pairs of pants, 2 hats, and 3 necklaces, all styled, designed, created and photographed by me! (@coltonleaf) - there will be more information released with the collection about the inspiration behind the pieces.

Other than the Lino print t-shirts coming out with PATINA, there are also some notable collaboration pieces coming after the release of this project that will be available on a mass scale for order, stay tuned for both!
