Getting a surfing photo before 2000 was as rare as getting bit by a Shark. The photogs of the 1970's era were Joaquin Garcia, Thom Hamilton, and David Macri. My Sony A7IV crashed after 1,000,000 shutter clicks. Rockstar Randy, @randydrummersurf and the surf community took it from there.
