HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DAD @BLEZNED 🎉🎂🎊💕

his birthday was last week and I never posted about it so here we are. My dad Steve is the reason I'm a Mets fan, have so much technical knowledge, he's supported me through my transition, and I'm so happy to have him around. here's some photos of us!

I was unemployed, lost my Brooklyn apartment, looked for positives in life and the Mets were there for me 🧡💙
.
heading into 2025 I'd already put money into renewing my Mets season tickets before having to cancel it. this got me a lot of Mets Connect points and left value in my ticket account so I did what anyone else would - I went to a lot of "free" Mets games! ☺️
.
so this is a gallery of my early May last year:
several Mets looks, some pretty flowers, the always delicious @whitemannahamburgers, the new pup Peaches, my cats mid-move, and a little look at my new @lemonhead.la glitter I was so happy to finally have thanks to t*kt*k shop deals. ✨

I don't really have words to describe how it's been going in the ~𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 since I last posted. safe to say it's been a lot like the third photo 😵‍💫
.
I lost my job. yeah, another one. but I loved working in the city again after losing my Brooklyn apartment during the bout of unemployment '24-'25 🥺
.
it wasn't all bad vibes. I loved the people I worked with but my managers put me through hell so it wasn't the b̾e̾s̾t̾ ten months of my life 🤕
.
that being said I did get a great haircut, and my Mets community keeps growing! longtime followers will know how important that is to me 💕
.
so hey, onward, upward, and let's go headfirst into the sh!t. we've done it before and we'll do it again. hoping to get back into posting for reals this time cuz F what was I waiting for when it's gonna be like this all the time?? 😅

the year turned over and as I entered my fourth month of unemployment my grandparents in Florida needed help after some scary stuff went down. (grandparents are okay, thank goodness.) I road tripped with my mom down to the Place Where I Have Less Rights and grew closer with her. my cats boarded with the other cats at my Family's house, further bonding the two of them in the space of other cats. I sort of learned how to drive stick shift. it was definitely a time! 🤗

spent the day after Thanksgiving having a fun Friendsgiving with @nasti_by_nature where I didn't take any pictures outside of transit to and from (and a single selfie at the end of the night lol). no tags this time, just some nice pictures.

Macy's 98th, my 16th, and Nick's 15th Thanksgiving Day Parade was a a joyful time and I can't wait until next year. I'll have a turkey day insta story up as a highlight soon enough but I wanted to share a gallery of fun with y'all too. 362 days till the next one! ☺️

it's a week after the election that will be bringing a guy whose campaign spent $250m+ on anti-trans political ads into the highest office of the land. scary times for my community in the USA, and even scarier for the world stage we're a part of. 💙

still, I had been out for two years the last time Trump got into office. during his term I lost 5 different jobs for *reasons* but I got a new job before he left office that helped me grow into the best version of myself. I'm looking for new work once again but I'm not nearly as worried about it. 😤
'
and this is all to say. it's scary. things are likely to get worse. but I will be here. I'll never fall to any political pressure and I will fight any policies that try to negatively hurt me or my community. the best we can do is stand strong and work together to survive. 🙏

so I'll be seeing you. I'm looking forward to having a new career soon and I'll have lots to share sooner than later. hang tight and feel free to reach out to me anytime. 💕
