So proud to have been a part of this! This was our local Black Lives Matter Unity March ending in San Brennan Park in Yuba City, CA.
All ages, all skin colors, all there in love & support!

The street leading to the White House has been renamed Black Lives Matter Plaza. Every town in America needs a street like this, preferably the one in front of every police station!!

I've had multiple conversations with people over the years about why Colin Kaepernick was protesting. Some people I talked with would not or chose not to try to understand. Does this make it easier?

Your pillow is all done & ready to ship, partner. I hope you love them as much as I do! Sorry there is a little bit of the color you hate in the backing & binding, but I just couldn't resist that 🌈😉

First progress pic for the#quiltersforkoalas #ss_teamwombat swap. The first pic is the Pretty Birds that will be turned into a pillow. Second pic is of the Swan that I made first. I don't hate it, it just struck me as "meh" & not special enough for my partner. I'm used to making things for friends & family that I know they'll love & didn't really realize how much anxiety it would give me to make something for someone I've never met😳😂
I hope you like your birds, partner! If you'd prefer the Swan, I would be more than happy to finish her for you instead😉 by @95narayanmade

Ok #quiltersforkoalas #ss_teamwombat partner I'd like help deciding what direction to go in. I think I've decided on @elizabethagh Swan Island for your pillow cover (unless I change my mind, again🙄). These are the fabrics I'm thinking about. The dark blue would be "sky", light blue "water" w/ one of the 2 purples for the feathers. Or, would you rather have the whole background be one of the 2 grays w/ teal (or another color) for the feathers? I also have the "Pretty Birds" pattern, @tartankiwi Emu & her fabulous Animal Quilts book if you'd prefer one of those.
Really didn't think it would be so hard to choose🥴🤣
Whatever you choose, I WILL be making all the others for myself eventually because I can't seem to stop switching favorites😜 by @95narayanmade

This is the best I could do at making a Mosaic for the #quiltersforkoalas swap. I'm sorry I'm new to posting anything on Instagram so I don't know how to tag the artists. Never participated in a swap before but couldn't pass up the chance to be a part of this one. I love all animals and birds. Not a big fan of reptiles. I love bright, happy colors. Tula Pink & Alison Glass are a couple of my favorite fabric designers. To my partner, I would like you to make something you're excited to make. I want you to have fun doing it & I'll love whatever I end up with. by @95narayanmade
