I took the sweetest, easiest shortcake trip to 📍The Cleveland Museum Art Museum today. Here are my top 5 star art nerd thoughts + fun facts:

⭐️ No Carravagio, but I did see lots of Renaissance artists inspired by Caravvv.

⭐️ The only Henri Matisse was a vase, womp womp. I know they have better pieces in their collection. :(

⭐️ BUTT they did have one of Picasso’s paintings from his Blue Period, which I’ve ALWAYS wanted to see.

⭐️ They had more work I haven’t seen from Edward Hopper… I’ve never seen him paint rolling hills? I guess that is very American landscaped esc. The painter and poet Charles Burch field once described Hoppers art as “silent poetry” which is stupid cute. What a bro.

⭐️ They put Van Gogh in the same room as Paul Gauguin which always gives me a deep chuckle.. IYKYK

⭐️ Lucas the Cranach the Elder’s Hunting near Hartenfels Castle is the German version of Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs by @97ladydi

This weekend the locals from Peachy Bae Island traveled to FantastiCON to buy an XBOX 360 Burger King racing game, some cool art, and do some people watching👀… Mom’s sweater really helped me get my ducks in a row COS people kept giving me tiny ducks all day.
