Everyone’s calling it a flying car. Look closer and it’s something stranger.

No wings, no propellers. Tesla and SpaceX put high-pressure air tanks and 10 nozzles into a Roadster. Blast air one way, the car goes the other. Fans underneath suck it to the surface hard enough to drive upside down.

It won’t take you from Dublin to Paris. It will do 0–60 in under a second and flip over a Semi.

Every car on the road is limited by one thing: tyre grip. Tesla says these thrusters push 4–5x more force than the tyres can.

Nathan and his dad spent 8 years building this Lancia Stratos.

It hit the road last year. And Nathan isn’t afraid to drive it.

A build like this could easily live under a cover. He drives it, and that says a lot about him.

Meet Mark and his SEAT Leon Cupra R.

Growing up around his family’s SEAT dealership, Mark always had cars around him. But this was the one he wanted most, a car that was once completely out of reach.

Years later, with the help of some friends, he tracked one down in the north and turned it into the car you see today.

The Leon Cupra R is easy to overlook. To most people, it’s just another Leon. But underneath the understated exterior is one of SEAT Sport’s early performance road cars.

For Mark, though, it’s much more than that.

It’s been taken to shows, driven everywhere, and become a car that holds a special place in his heart. One that, when the time comes, will be passed down to his son.

Meet Christopher and his 1966 MGB GT

At just 18 years old, Christopher has already found his way into the world of classic cars.

His car is 60 years old, but the connection between the two is only just beginning. He takes great care of it and wants to keep it for as long as he possibly can, enjoying it for many years to come.

There’s something special about seeing someone so young care so deeply about a car that has already lived through six decades.

I’m not saying they’re not making car like this anymore I’m just thinking the car industry is losing diversity in most aspects.

Back when they had a soul, character and personality. Almost like a family member, filled with stories.

Sergio’s Beetle is a great example to that, even though it’s quite hard to keep them alive thankfully we’ve some good examples still up and running…

Meet Sergio and his 1978 Volkswagen Beetle.

There’s something about this car that feels very much like Sergio himself. Characterful and full of stories.

Growing up in Brazil, Sergio’s dad owned two Beetles. One of them was an ‘82, and the memories of family holidays and bikes on the roof stayed with him. Years later, after moving to Ireland, he finally got his own.

For Sergio, the Beetle is more than a classic car. It’s a reminder to enjoy the things you love while you can. It’s the car he takes out with his daughters for an evening spin, the one that gets strangers talking wherever he parks, and the one he already knows will never be sold.

Every year, just after Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, Broad Arrow holds its auction at Villa Erba on the shores of Lake Como.

This year’s auction featured 75 collector cars and brought in €40.8 million in total sales, with 87% of the cars finding a buyer.

Some of the highlights included a 2023 Ferrari Daytona SP3, which sold for €6.25 million, a Ferrari F40 for €2.93 million, a Porsche 918 Spyder Weissach for €2.26 million, a Ferrari 330 GTS for €1.92 million and a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing for €1.64 million.

There were also some pretty serious Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Porsches and a whole collection of R34 GT-Rs. by @9caars
