Another year around the sun, and I’m standing here with a heart full of gratitude. For the woman I have been, the woman I am becoming, the lessons, the growth, the answered prayers, and even the unanswered ones that taught me to trust God differently.

Today, I step into my new year with everything I hope for, everything I have prayed for, and everything God has prepared for me. I pray for a year of divine alignment, where the right doors open, the wrong ones close without regret, and I have the wisdom to recognise the difference.

May this new year bring me good health, genuine happiness, deep peace, financial ease, meaningful opportunities, beautiful relationships, and the courage to pursue the things that set my soul on fire. May my work flourish, may my ideas find expression, may my efforts produce fruit, and may I never be too busy to enjoy the life I am building.

I pray for protection over me and everyone I love. For grace to mother, love, serve, lead, create and grow without losing myself in the process.

May I have the strength to walk away from what no longer serves me and the discernment to hold tightly to what truly matters.

And above all, may I never outgrow my dependence on God.

This year, I am not just asking for more.
I am asking for better, better days, better decisions, better opportunities, better memories, better boundaries and better stewardship of the life I have been given.

I am stepping into this year with expectation, but also with surrender.

God, go before me. Order my steps. Surprise me with goodness. Let this be a year I look back on and say, truly OLUWASEYI

In simple terms, your brain remembers your life like it has been recording every episode of a very long series, with no skip recap button😂

Omo 😭😭😭😭 hyperthymesia is simply the extraordinary ability to recall personal experiences with remarkable detail.

While most of us struggle to remember where we kept our phones five minutes ago, someone with hyperthymesia may recall events from years earlier with striking clarity.

But here’s the twist, it doesn’t mean they remember everything, have a perfect memory for schoolwork, or can never forget anything. The ability mainly concerns autobiographical memories, and it is extremely rare.

For example, I don’t have hyperthymesia; I can barely remember why I entered the kitchen.”
