I’ve been chasing a half marathon since April and I finally got it! I’m still on a high as I type this caption. Going through all of the pictures of the day has me cheesing and feeling like I can truly do anything! Before today I had never ran the full 13 miles and I hit multiple walls but a few things pulled me through. I turned to the man upstairs and my favorite worship songs. I also thought about how if my brother were here he’d never let me live it down if I gave up on myself 😅 Not to mention my amazing friends showing up to support me yet again 🥹

Lili, I am soooo proud of you and your grit. What started as a hobby has turned into something really special. I’ve witnessed you push yourself past your limits and I hope that today gave you a glimpse of all that you are capable of. You are THAT girl. Thank you for going along with my delulu💖

I was going for a half marathon but the weather decided otherwise. I hit a PR in my 10k though! 🧚🏼‍♀️

I ran alongside a blind man today, who CHOSE to be here, and it was a solid reminder to never take my able body for granted. Thank you Jesus 🤍

I’m doing this for those who can’t.
