As Mr. JSU, it’s only right that I bring something to the campus that represents strength, unity, and wellness 💙🐅

I’m proud to invite you all to the Jackson State Spring Festival: Train Like a Tiger — happening April 12th at 9AM on the Plaza!

This isn’t just a workout… this is a movement.
We’re bringing the community together for a full morning of energy and elevation:

🏃‍♂️ Community Run
💪 Full Body Bodyweight Workout
🧘‍♀️ Pilates & Yoga
🌿 Health & Wellness Vendors

And I’m excited to be co-hosting alongside my official wellness partner, Organic Fitness & Nutrition, as we continue building a healthier community on and beyond campus.

This event is open to EVERYONE — students, faculty, and the entire Jackson community. Pull up, bring a friend, and come train like a tiger with us 🐅🔥

Let’s show what JSU wellness looks like. by @9thmisterjsu

📣 As the 9th Mister JSU at Jackson State University, #KappaAlphaPsi Fraternity Inc. brother Jarek Peterson (@jarek._) is using his platform with purpose during his final year on campus. Through initiatives like the King’s Kitchen event, he is doing more than serving meals, he is building a bridge between students and the Jackson, MS community and reminding everyone that giving back is something we can all be part of. 🤴🏾♦️👌🏾

His leadership reflects a heart for service and a commitment to bringing people together for a greater cause. Jarek has consistently shown that impact is not about recognition, it is about love, compassion, and creating meaningful change, even in small ways.

We applaud him for allowing his faith to guide his work and for uplifting the community with humility and purpose. Jackson State is proud, and so are we. Outstanding work brother! ❤️ taken in Jackson State University by @9thmisterjsu

Sometimes in life, we take a lot for granted. That’s why it’s important to pause and ask ourselves what can we do to help those who aren’t as fortunate?

Take a look at this recap of the King’s Kitchen event with @greenghosttacos 🌮💚

Mister and Miss JSU’s First Deans and Donuts was a huge success!🍩 We were able to advocate on the behalf of students’ concerns, and bridge the gap between faculty and staff for improvement. We can’t wait to share all of the information gathered and all of the feedback given!

See you next month Deans! 💖
