Dear Twenty-Two,

Welcome.
I’ve waited for you, prayed for you and now you’re here. And as I step into you, I do so with intention, with reverence, and with great expectation.

This year, I choose Peace.
Not because everything is perfect, not because life has handed me ease, but because I know whose I am. Because I know I’m walking in alignment with God’s will. Because I know I am right at the center of His purpose for my life. That is my peace—a peace that passes understanding.

This year, I choose Joy.
Joy that isn’t rooted in circumstance, but in God’s divine presence. Joy in knowing that I never walk alone. I walk with God the Father, with God the Son, and with God the Holy Spirit. And that reality fills me with an unspeakable joy—joy that reminds me that He who is for me is far greater than anything in this world. Joy in the truth that even when I fall, His arms remain wide open.

This year, I choose Progress.
The seeds of intentionality I’ve sown in the last few months—I’m ready to see them bloom. I grow, deeply and powerfully. I walk in transformative growth—the kind that makes people stop and say, “Only God could’ve done this.” I experience the kind of progress that loudly echoes: Not by power, not by might, but by the Spirit of the Lord.

This year, I choose Intentionality.
Intentionality in living. In capturing moments. In soaking in God’s goodness. This 22 marks the beginning of so many things for me, the beginning of living fully, wholly, joyfully. I will be intentional in my health, my career, my finances, my relationships, and most importantly, my spiritual life.

This year, I choose God.
Oh, this 22—my spirit is ready. I will hear God more clearly, love Him more dearly, and follow Him more nearly. I will walk hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, not just knowing Him, but partnering with Him. I will make God known. I will win souls. I will speak boldly. I will love radically. There will be no spiritual decline, no holding back. This is the year my faith goes deeper than it ever has.

Twenty-two, you are not just another year. You are sacred. You are purposeful. You are an answered prayer. And I welcome you with an open heart and an anchored soul. by @_.ladidi

Two words to describe 2023;
GOD'S FAITHFULNESS 💫

God literally said "It's Me and You this year"🤗
He held my hands from January 1st till today
He never left me, never disappointed me, never failed me
Battles seen as well as unseen, God fought for me
Dangers seen as well as unseen, God protected me
If I didn't know who God was prior to 2023 (so Grateful I do), I definitely do now 🙏🏽

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:20‭-‬21‬ ‭AMP‬‬📌
[20] Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, [21] to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen
This scripture has been my story throughout 2023, because God did much more than I thought, asked or imagined.
I asked for happiness, He filled me with Joy
I asked for luck, He showed me Favour

I'm grateful for Access (the gift of Salvation), for life & health, for my family & friends, for relationships (both built & strengthened), for all the experiences of 2023, for growth in all areas (especially spiritual growth), for God's provision and Favour. I'm particularly grateful for my Christian community @harvestersng (@harvestersabuja is indeed home 🥺❤️)

This year, I experienced God like never before.
Not just for the bread that He gives, but for the bread that He is
