About a year ago, My life changed for the better. And here I am, reminiscing on that life-changing experience. I had never had friends at church before. I had never been to a church camp before. With a little bias in my heart, I prayed, “Lord, make a way for me if You really want me to go to Rev Up.” Somehow, I can’t even explain how it happened, but I was able to attend. I can say that since then, I have grown so much as a person. Oh! My conviction became stronger. I understood that the Bible is the only authority in my life. I understood that my life is a gospel to everyone around me. I experienced community like never before. I am grateful for my mentors at CelebTeens. I wouldn’t attend church, and someone would definitely call to check up on me,not just once, but they would make sure I made it the next Sunday. I wasn’t timid to stand by what I believed in school. And when things got hard, I knew I could reach out to someone for encouragement—someone who really understood where I was coming from without invalidating my emotions. I can say for a fact that Rev Up was one of the best things that happened to me in 2025. I remember the prayer stretch on the first day. I started with so much vigour, but at some point, I started losing strength. Pastor Ify @ifeyinwanwaoyo came beside me, held my hand, and encouraged me. To me, that moment meant a lot. I couldn’t really explain why, but it did. I am deeply grateful for Rev Up, for CelebTeens, for my mentors, and for every person who played a part in making that experience what it was for me. Looking back now, I realize that God used this community to change something in me that I didn’t even know needed changing. Rev Up wasn’t just a camp I attended. It became a turning point in my life. And for that, I will always be grateful. Thank you, Apostle, @pst_iren for Rev Up. Thank you, CelebTeens, for creating a community where I could grow, be seen, be challenged, and be supported. Thank You, Jesus, for your intentionality towards me. You marvel me all the time, Sweet Jesus. Thank You for bringing me to Celeb Teens at such a fundamental season of my life. Through Rev Up, I’ve been able to understand purpose on a deeper and greater level. “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” — 2 Corinthians 5:20 (NIV) To make You known to all parts of the world, just like Your Word says. Thank you, CCI Global, @cci_celebteens for allowing God to use you to craft a program like Rev Up. I’m consciously counting down to the next one already. Grateful for all the Mentors. Grateful for all the Pastors. Grateful for all God is doing in me. I’m honestly in so much awe of what happened at Rev Up that I had to post on IG for the first time.
