I’m beyond grateful as I step into this next chapter of my life. First, I have to thank my parents for everything. Leading me through life, steering me to be great, pushing me when I needed it and believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. I truly couldn’t have done even half of this without them. To my sisters, our bond is something I’ll cherish forever. Your love, support, and the connection we share is incomparable to anything in this world. You’ve been there through every high and low, and that means everything to me. And to my family, thank you for the constant texts, calls, showing up to games, and pouring love into me every step of the way. Your support has been nothing short of amazing, and I will carry it with me now and forever.

This senior year tested me in ways I never expected. There were moments I doubted myself, where everything felt overwhelming trying to balance life, school, and the sport I love. Times I wanted to give up, times I felt like quitting, and that loud voice in the back of my head tried to tell me I wasn’t enough. But I didn’t stop. I kept going. I gave everything I had to push past my doubt. I finished strong, and through it all, I learned to trust the Lord and trust the process He had for me.

To my teammates and coaches, thank you for being such a huge part of my journey. The laughs and dance parties in the locker room, tough love, tears, hugs, and our Skittles before every game..those moments meant everything. They meant more than just basketball; they built a family. I will truly miss every single one of you, and I carry so much love and appreciation for the role you played in my life.

Most importantly, I thank God. He is the reason I am who I am, the reason I’m still standing, and the reason I’ve been given this opportunity. Through every challenge, every doubt, and every victory, He has been right there guiding me. Now, He has blessed me with the chance to continue playing the sport I love at the next level, surrounded by an amazing coaching staff, an incredible school, and teammates I can’t wait to build new bonds with. I’m walking into this season with faith, gratitude, and excitement for everything ahead. by @_.mischaalise
