JUST BEATEN: RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE 🩸
such a good game, wowie.

Mr. X made me crap myself, and all of the zombies jumpscaring me only made it worse.

the atmosphere, tension, horror, and body horror is just incredible.

the puzzles were decent. some i did struggle with.

i liked having two separate campaigns but the canonicity of them is a bit iffy, because the characters, objects and locations would overlap and contradict each other, i found it best to just not think about it too much.. it will hurt your brain.

Leon’s story took me like 13 hours because i was getting used to the world, locations, weapons, learning where everything was, knowing how to manage resources correctly etc etc.
but my second scenario run with Claire was way shorter, like only 7 hours. i already knew where everything was and it felt like a breeze in comparison since you have SOOOO much more game knowledge in your head already about everything.
getting to see the true ending after 20 hours was really cool and worth it.

overall i loved this freaking game and i might consider getting RE3 and the rest of the series later!
