I would wish you the best, but you would just end up with me. by @_.netez._

Say what Nie?? 🤣🔥 by @_.netez._

Sometimes I wish I could make one phone call and tell my brother everything that’s happening. I hope he’s proud of the woman I’ve become and the mission we’re building. 💚📺 This interview was bigger than me. It was a reminder that purpose can grow from pain #nonprofit #love #hope #fyp #news by @_.netez._

I used to think maybe I was behind in life because things weren’t happening when I wanted them to. But then I turned 30 & something changed in me. I stopped doubting myself & started going after everything I’ve ever wanted. From building my nonprofit, to stepping out on faith, to now joining the military. I realized being patient didn’t mean I was stagnant. It meant I was being prepared. A lot of people give up on their dreams because they feel like time has passed them by. But me? I’m proof that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself, heal, grow & chase purpose with everything in you. Now here I am about to turn 31, finally understanding that God’s timing was perfect all along. ✨#airforce by @_.netez._

233 collected, 136 blessed 💚👟. Sorry it’s long but it’s worth the read . I am so elated, so grateful & so blessed. It’s truly a blessing to be a blessing. I appreciate EVERYONE who donated, everyone who shared a post & my volunteers ! the ones who signed up & the ones who unexpectedly showed up. I love y’all, fr! Nothing goes unnoticed. Everything has a reason ! so I’m ready to tell my why . My oldest brother, Jonathan Thornton, chose to live on the streets about 13 years ago. (And yes, I said chose.) He felt like the unhoused understood him more. He was so kind, so generous. He would call mom & ask for two $5 bills ,be completely broke & still give one of those $5s to someone on the streets. That’s just who he was. In 2020, another unhoused man took his life. His back was turned… he didn’t even see it coming. After that I tried staying connected to him by buying meals for someone unhoused every Friday. It didn’t feel like enough. Helping one person here & there just wasn’t enough for me. So I turned my grief into purpose & JT Hands of Hope was born 💚 JT stands for two things:
“Join Together” & “Johnathan Thornton.”

So when I say it means EVERYTHING to me when y’all share a post, donate, volunteer, or even just speak on it I mean that from my heart. I truly believe you reap what you sow & I will ALWAYS show my appreciation. every seed I plant, every blessing I pour out… it’s coming back to you too. Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep loving on people the right way.
