For the last 365 days, I’ve been grinding to earn the right to call myself a firefighter for the City of Tacoma.

Today is day 366.
Hi… it’s Firefighter Hale. 🚒

This photo dump includes my beloved classmates (i owe y’all more than I can put into words), the tower I spent the last six months in , countless drills, some moments I’ll never forget on probation, Six months of showing up over and over again - drilling until it felt like it was drilled into my soul. These pictures don’t do the experience justice, but I’m so happy and blessed that I get to share this.

I’m devoted to becoming a better person every day, even if it’s just 1% better.

And if you come from nothing and you have ever felt like your dreams might be too big or might be too ambitious… let this be your reminder: to never give up, don’t stop going and to keep your faith because dreams really do come true.

That’s a wrap for the summer folks !

Photo dump explained (for those who stay):
1. Coworker who basically lives in Mexico and spends his time fishing. Brought his fresh fish and made these fresh rolls (all of this) for lunch on Labor Day 😩(I died and came back BTW)
