Last Saturday I broadcast a special edition of The Blackdub Sessions as a tribute to Lenzman and The North Quarter. If you’ve listened to show over the last three years, you’ll know his music and the label have featured heavily. His music and vision were a big part of drawing me back into the scene and getting back on radio.

You can find the archive of the show on all @subfmradio channels now. Check the link in my bio for the SoundCloud link and swipe through for the tracklist. I tried to include as many of the core TNQ artists while keeping it heavy on the Lenzman tunes but no doubt I’ve forgotten some.

Cutting it fine on the promo this month but this evening, my radio show, The Blackdub Sessions is back on @subfmradio from 19:00 CET.

For this edition I’ve invited Amsterdam based crew, @mokumravemassive to take over the show for the whole two hours. This set was recorded live earlier this year at the Mokum Rave Massive x Slim Jungle event in Amsterdam. Expect a high energy selection across the board. Lock in lock on! 🔓🔒

Mokum Rave Massive is a growing collective with its heart in the underground rave culture surrounding multi-genre bass music. MRM creates accessible (outdoor) events like those often found in the UK drum and bass scene. Inspired by the free-city movement, MRM stands for self-expression, collective autonomy, and the power of people creating spaces outside of imposed control. MRM honours the roots of rave culture: community over profit, music over ego, freedom over fame. Their events strive to break down barriers so no one is excluded by age, cost or status: The party belongs to everyone.
