A few days till the year is over, and I’ve been thinking about the goals and plans I set for the year. Honestly, a lot of them didn’t turn out the way I expected, and somewhere along the line I started to feel like I had failed. I focused so much on what didn’t work that I almost overlooked the beautiful things that actually did. Things didn’t go exactly how I planned, but God still showed up in so many ways, and so much more happened than I imagined. For that, I’m truly grateful 🤍
Here are some of the things I’m especially thankful for this year:
Gift of life 😌✨
Studying my Bible more and completing a 30-day Bible study challenge.
Good health and provision.
God’s strength that carried me through it all.
Finishing school
Growing into a better version of myself.
Becoming more creative.
My hair growth
Meaningful relationships.
Losing weight… and gaining it back 😂

The last slide has to be the highlight for me 😍🥺
These past few years have been ones I’m truly grateful for. I didn’t just gain educational growth—I also had the chance to grow spiritually, and that is the biggest highlight for me.
From being so confused and lost about who I was, and not even being sure if God cared about me… To this— Understanding that He loves me, and getting to experience His love through every step. Meeting so many amazing people who helped me in more ways than I can count.
God is really gooddd!
All I can say is thank You, Lord, because You made all of this happen 💪🏾❤️ You led, I followed (You even helped me follow 🥺).
This is definitely a double win for me— I got to grow both spiritually and academically.

Lately, I’ve been getting to understand that it’s not just about knowing the will of God, but also letting it happen at HIS OWN TIME…

He makes all things perfect in his own time. It’s so tempting to want to take matters into your hands at times, but that can be very exhausting 🥲
