Born ② Roam
by Daniel Holler @danielhollercom & Michelle Stutz @michanys
8–14 October at Gruben[n] @grubenstrasse39
Grubenstrasse 39, 8045 Zürich
Vernissage: 8 October, 6 pm
Performance: 8 October, 7.30 pm, by Michaël Reinhold @mikosmonsters

Dear SUVs,
Go touch some grass.

Dear friends, family and followers,
Join us in the SUV fever dream aka the multimedia installation at Gruben[n].

Shifting the relationships of power and proximity between SUVs and the audience, alongside Michaël Reinhold’s performance, you’ll find SUVs recast as cute yet subtly disturbing: strange, awkward, at times repulsive.

A mixed moodboard, process documentation and general vibe of "Born to Roam", a project and exhibition in development 👀 Conceptual details, project text, location and people involved -re going to be announced soon(ish) ⏭️ Many thanks to @michanys for being so passionate about SUVs (and hating them) as I am 🛞🏁🚙 by @___1a4

Rotting in bed = being political = protest. Read the speech I made during “Me, Rotting in bed" if you don’t believe me ;) 📜🤳🛌

“Me, Rotting in Bed”
2025, Material Zürich

Thanks to everyone who joined me last Saturday for these 24h of pure rotting in bed. Hours were scrolled, much happened while doing little — and I hope you can follow my steps towards political activism from bed.

I want to thank @material_zh for hosting me, and all my friends for helping me write, perform, transport, photograph, set up, feed, and style me.

Special thanks to @casabarilli for the exceptionally cool Sandmann-type look.

Stay tuned for more posts and updates. 🛌 by @___1a4

A 24h performance. Start: 18:00

Join me in these 24 hours at Material Zurich. Nothing much will happen, except for radical rest, a protest of refusal, and good drinks. More info soon.
