⚔️ recently I was thinking a lot about social media and what is the content that really matters?

that is working
that is producing ideas
that is making connections to other ideas and forming a network.
It’s a human brain that forms not only a network from one human thought to another one, but from things we see in nature into our life.
We see pattern in nature, and then we see pattern in our life, and when we are very wide awake, we can have philosophical insights through this. by @______aelys

WE HAVE BECOME VERY GOOD AT FINDING INSPIRATION. BUT HAVE WE FORGOTTEN HOW TO GENERATE IT?

We look left and right before we even ask ourselves what we think. We collect references, save posts, listen to other people’s opinions, watch how they live, work, create and build things.

And somewhere along the way, we start mistaking familiarity for desire.

We think we want something simply because we’ve seen it so many times.

But what happens when we stop looking?

When there is no podcast playing, no feed to scroll, no new idea waiting to be saved? When we allow ourselves to be bored again, to follow a thought without immediately searching for someone who has already articulated it better?

I don’t believe original thinking means creating something out of nothing. We are always informed by the world around us. But there is a difference between being inspired by something and allowing it to do our thinking for us.

Perhaps creation begins in the space we are so quick to fill.

With a little boredom. A question that remains unanswered. An idea that hasn’t been validated by anyone else yet.

With learning to trust that something can come from within us, too.

We attach meaning to being early, late, ahead, behind, ready, not ready… We tell our lives in chronological order and then judge ourselves by the timeline we think we should be on.

Something ripens when the conditions are right. Sometimes that means waiting. Sometimes changing the environment is needed. Sometimes we need to protect what is still forming. And sometimes moving before everyone else is the solution…

Easy but sooo good.
Important things:
- the quality of your coconut water is everything in this drink. I love @cocododrink (not sponsored, I just like it for mix drinks)
- too many icecubes will make this drink to watery. Less is more in this case

Variation: you can also mix cold brew coffee with coconut water (no ice added then).

Try it! It’s really good. When using cold water you have to whisk it a little bit more to have your matcha that creamy. But it’s absolutely worth it.
The matcha does have a slightly stronger flavor - which is nice to really taste the quality.
Like always with matcha - quality is the key ☁️

Natural electrolyte drink for summer mornings

Pinch of salt
Half a lemon
1 tb apple vinegar
Fill up with water
