“Потрес срца” - кореографско истраживање живота на нестабилном тлу, Турска

“Потрес срца” је кореографско дело о животу на нестабилном тлу, како метафорички тако и буквално. Инспирисан политичком и географском стварношћу Турске, комад се фокусира на идеју да „земља обликује начин размишљања становника“ и на истраживање покрета засновано на идеји „географије као соматског искуства“. Уметничко истраживање почело је одмах након великог земљотреса који се догодио у југоисточном делу Турске 6.
фебруара 2023, у ком је погинуло хиљаде људи. Како можете замислити своју будућност када вам у сусрет иде потрес, а потреси стално мењају оно о чему сте сањали? У земљи у којој људи одрастају слушајући о древним градовима који су сви уништени земљотресима, како можете градити нешто када знате да ће на крају бити срушено? Како можете имати поверења у институцију која је у суштини зграда од бетона која се може
срушити у било ком тренутку? Када све настави да се распада, шта преостаје осим међусобне подршке и бескрајног труда људских бића? Можда у великој мери ово може чак објаснити дугогодишње присуство једне политичке личности. Домовина Сизифа, неуморног господара вечног труда, лежи на једном од сеизмички најактивнијих подручја на земљи.

Плесна резиденција Екин Тунчели одржана као увод у 10. Tanz Platz

Уочи 10. фестивала савременог плеса Tanz Platz, у СКЦНС-у је одржана петодневна уметничка резиденција са кореографкињом и извођачицом Екин Тунчели (Турска/Немачка). Током резиденције, учесници и учеснице истраживали су како криза може постати кореографски материјал, полазећи од локалног контекста Новог Сада и Србије. Резиденција је уједно била увод у фестивал, а перформанс Екин Тунчели „Потрес срца“ публика ће имати прилику да види већ сутра 23. септембра у 20 часова у СКЦНС-у.

News from heartquake for the new season 🫀

We’ll open the season with heartquake in Novi Sad, Serbia, as part of TanzPlatz Festival on 23 September.

Alongside the performance, Ekin Tunçeli will be in residency and lead a masterclass as part of the EFFEA grant. More details can be found on the website: https://skcns.org/event-directory/ There is an open call for residency for local artists to research crisis as choreographic material, with the creative approach of heartquake forming the framework for the research process.

Ένα χορογραφικό έργο για τη ζωή πάνω σε ασταθές έδαφος — κυριολεκτικά και μεταφορικά. Εκεί όπου η γη διαμορφώνει τη σκέψη και η αστάθεια γίνεται καθημερινή συνθήκη.

Πώς συνεχίζεις να ονειρεύεσαι όταν όλα γύρω σου μετακινούνται;

Ένα έργο για την επιμονή, την ευθραυστότητα και την ανάγκη να συνεχίζεις, ακόμη και χωρίς καμία βεβαιότητα.

Ground is never stable 🌍

Within the ARCHITECTS strand of Arc For Dance Festival ✨, Heartquake by Ekin Tunçeli took place at DAN.C.CE – Dance Cultural Centre.

A choreographic work about living on unstable ground — both literally and metaphorically. Where the earth shapes thought and instability becomes a daily condition.

How do you keep dreaming when everything beneath you keeps shifting?

A piece about persistence, fragility, and the need to continue, even without certainty.

Usually I am not a stone-collecter. But this time i had the urge to bring something to Berlin with me, this stones; literally some pieces of where I’m coming from. ( Basically it is the other coast of the same sea )

I had very interesting feelings in Athens; even it was my first time, it felt so much like home, with all the positive sides and the negative sides. I found myself at home and I felt the peace it brings. Beside, I also found myself back in situations that I’ve been trying to escape.

The streets of Athens smell like my grandpa, and I always felt like I’ll go back to home with groceries to see my grandma.

I am definetely a Mediterrenean human being, as I feel this deeply one more time. Most of the time I was slightly confused on the back of my head if I’m walking on a street in Denizli, İzmir or İstanbul or Athens.

Thanks to amazing people that I shared time for their opennes. And thank you Athens to make me feel like i’m home with all the emotional roller coster🫀 by @______ekint

Το heartquake είναι ένα χορογραφικό έργο για τη ζωή σε ασταθές έδαφος, τόσο μεταφορικά όσο και κυριολεκτικά. Εμπνευσμένο από την πολιτική και γεωγραφική πραγματικότητα της Τουρκίας, το έργο εστιάζει στην ιδέα ότι «η γη διαμορφώνει τον τρόπο σκέψης των κατοίκων» και εκτυλίσσεται από το τοπικό επίπεδο σε έναν παγκόσμιο στοχασμό για το πώς κατοικούμε την αστάθεια και την επισφάλεια.

heartquake is a choreographic work about living on shaky ground, both metaphorically and literally. Inspired by Türkiye’s political and geographical realities, the piece focuses on the idea that “the land shapes the inhabitants’ way of thinking” and evolves from a local ground into a global reflection on how we inhabit instability and precarity.
