My Business Lesson from the Dangote IPO Rush.

One thing this period has taught me is the importance of putting proper structures in place BEFORE you scale.

Right now, with the Dangote Refinery IPO, every investment platform is seeing massive traffic. Everyone is selling shares. But not every platform was ready for it.

Take Bamboo as a case study - users are reporting, delayed assess, inability to access funds and missed opportunities. And in this business, when a transaction fails, it's not just an inconvenience, it's money lost and trust broken.

This is a classic reminder for all business owners:

1. Don't wait for the surge to build capacity. Build for the surge before it comes. High traffic should not cripple your business.

2. Due diligence is not optional.Your payment infrastructure, your customer support, your servers - all need to be Stress-Tested long before you go fully live or run a major campaign.

3. Don't operate in panic mode. If you only start looking for solutions when issues arise, you're already too late. Remediation is always more expensive than preparation.

Success in business isn't just about getting customers through the door. It's about making sure your business can still run efficiently when thousands of them walk in at once.

Put everything in place properly from day one.
