$Lord Of Cassava - Yuchau Flash inspired by the mystical folklore and ancient traditions, of the indigenous people of Trinidad & Tobago. The arawaks. 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹 The Arawaks would conduct cobhoba ceremonies to communicate with spirits, cure sickness and predict weather. This involved inhaling psychedelics like DMT to receive guidance. Using a Zemi, a sacred carving to do these rituals. Other ancient artefact’s can be seen in this flash, like a Yuchau. A supreme deity - Lord of the sea and cassava. Most of the Caribbeans first peoples culture often gets overlooked due to loss history and colonial abominations. This flash is here to appreciate my ancestors ancient traditions and to reaffirm Caribbean culture didn’t start from colonial times. This flash is for everyone and anyone to appreciate. $JAH Tattoo flash inspired by Rastafarianism — a movement deeply rooted in the struggles, resilience and liberation of Black people For this flash, I’ve incorporated key Rastafarian symbolism alongside inspiration from ornamental forms and ancient flourishes, creating something that connects history and visual tradition. The designs draws from the three major types of Rastafari: the Twelve Tribes of Israel, Bobo Ashanti and Nyabinghi. I’ve taken particular inspiration from Nyabinghi drumming ceremonies, as well as the strong biblical foundations and symbolism found within the Twelve Tribes of Israel tradition. Flash available from £150 DM to enquire or request a booking via link bio Deep appreciation to my family for raising me with the awareness and strength to seek a life beyond Babylon ❤️💛💚 \} \} \} #explorepage #tattooflash #rastafara #ethopian #halieselassie taken in London, United Kingdom by @_____martyrs$
