Next Friday we’re taking Mold out into the open air for our first-ever outdoor event: a block party at Burnside Cafe.

We’ll be supported by @steppingroundsoundsystem , a soundsystem built with a love for bringing reggae and dub to life. Music will be taken care of by both the DJs of Mold and Stepping Ground Soundsystem themselves.

This is a free event! Burnside Cafe will be serving their “dag hap” dinners, pizzas and more, so come early for food and drinks and stay for the dance. We’d love to see you there! 🫶 taken in Burnside Deventer by @_____mold_____

Reminiscing about last Saturday — another evening where everything seemed to align perfectly. We’re still taking it all in. This one will stay with us for a long time 💗

We want to give a warm thank you for making all of this possible for us. A special thanks to @_annebel___ for her feral energy, @chielhento for opening the night in style and all the volunteers at @walhalladeventer. See you at the next one!

The boy is back in town! Supporting Annebel on October 11th is Hento, bringing the sound that you know by now — heavy bass, backbreakers, and plenty of energy to get you in a moldy mood.

Fresh off a journey to the other side of the world, he returns with a bag full of bangers unearthed from the mountains of New Zealand.

Known for his entertaining and high energy sets, he can’t wait to showcase his sound for a warm up set this time. Come through and say hi. 🧡

Tickets are available now via the link in bio — don’t sleep. 🛸 by @_____mold_____

Tilburg-based Annebel aims to push the boundaries of her sound by layering
harmonies and rhythms into new soundscapes when mixing her broad taste in music
together into an energetic whole.

Whether it is through a downtempo opening set or a high-energy closing, she aims to hold you by the hand to explore new melodies, rhythms, and genres, in mixes inwhich she remains well-adjusted to her environment while always staying grounded in her recognizable style.

After watching her play at Het Systeem, Draaimolen Island x Sustain-Release and
Sissi’s, we felt that her style is a perfect fit for Mold.

We are very proud to welcome her in a more intimate setting for our next edition.

As the last leaves dance their way to the ground, Mold returns.

On October 11th, we reunite at @walhalladeventer to relive the golden glow of summer and embrace the club season ahead of us. 🍂
This time Annebel joins us to set the floor alight, with support from our very own Hento.

A limited batch of early birds is available now.

Tomorrow evening we get to experience sound takes shape. Mold is excited to welcome Belgrade based artist Stefan to present live visuals during our event at Walhalla. When we met Stefan we naturally bonded over our shared love for music and the incorporation of organic elements in art. We’re eager to have a little taste of his curious imagination and to feel this come alive, together with you in our shared space.

“This Saturday I will be excited to invoke forms from the depth and let them pulse through space. The way nature moves and brings first shapes into existence deeply inspires me. I will be exploring the pattern that connects sound waves and organic growth, using the frequency of music to invite the light to join us in the dance.”

This Saturday marks Molds two years of expanding, experimenting and entangling. Now the beat returns, and so do we.

But first we invite you to pause with us and rewake where we've been and what we've become through the lenses of @nikolaevalina & @anne_unverzagt

One week to go until Mold’s two-year anniversary edition at Walhalla with Mycelium Soundsystem.

Don’t miss out – see you next week!

Mycelium Soundsystem is a collective that represents an organic exchange of energy, rhythm and emotion. Much like how mycelium connects and nourishes life beneath our feet.

This concept dissolves barriers of rigid time slots and premeditated sets, creating a living and breathing system that lets ideas sprout and beats evolve in symbiosis. While Mold is the event that we host, Mycelium Soundsystem is the living force making Mold come alive through a shared love for music.

REM and Hoff will kick-off Mold’s new concept in Walhalla on April 19. Expect the (un)usual genre-fluid sound that we call Spore Core 🧚‍♂️
