For our 10 Years Anniversary of @___thek we teamed up with our good friend @kofie (organiser of @ebs & @cultureconnect030 to bring you a day of movements in communities.

Back in 2016 we did the 1st Battle__thek with dancers and performances inside an empty store front and in the middle of our exhibition and publication with @graffitiremovals in Düsseldorf.

This time we bring it back to you, cause it was so much fun.

Aus der Idee in Düsseldorfer Leerständen unser Kiosk – die _thek – zu Räumen für Austausch zu machen, sind mittlerweile mehr als 70+ Veranstaltungen, ein eigenes Festival, das Projekt SupportYourLocalDealer.org, der Verein Solidari_thek, sowie ein Museum erwachsen. Es wurden in den Jahren mehr als 60.000€ Spenden gesammelt für NGOs und soziale Projekte und wir machen weiter – damals so wie heute!

Say Hi to 💚💛 @danalessi 💚💛

Dana is painting the entrance wall of our museum for the upcoming days — we are super happy about hosting her here and inviting you to visit our Museum @tempo___k while she is working on her wall painting.

🌶️🫛🥤To celebrate the new painting we plan a cozy gathering, with drinks and BBQ this Sunday, 16th August at 6PM🧃🥕🥬

ABOUT:
Dana Alessi was born in Buenos Aires -Argentina, in 1988. She is a visual artist, muralist, and fashion designer (University of Buenos Aires- UBA @uba_ar ).

She worked as a Design professor at the Saltzman Cathera (UBA) and in 2018 participated in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico with her “Painter´s Cloth “ collection.

She created murals and interventions in public spaces commissioned by government areas, such as the bridge adjacent to the Law School and the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve.

She has also been invited by museums and brands such as @converse , @adidasoriginals , and @puma . In 2021, she was recognized with the Argentine Women Muralists award, organized by the Andreani
Foundation, the French Embassy, and L’Oreal.
She trained in Seminars and workshops with Artists Diana Aisenberg (@dianaaisenberg ), Diego Perrotta (@diegoperrotta1973 ) , Francisca Kweitel (@francisca_kweitel ) and Alejandra Roux (@rouxalejandra ). She has participated in group exhibitions at the Proa Foundation,
@TheLebensohnFoundation, @panal361 , the @museomalba Store, and the @elrecoleta .
She held solo exhibitions at the Museum of Architecture and Design in Buenos Aires (2022) and at the Culture´s House in Vicente López (2023). In 2024, she developed a large-scale site-specific
installation titled “Walking on Water” at the Water Museum, Palace of Running Waters in Buenos Aires. She has participated in international group exhibitions in Lima and London.

She lives and works in Buenos Aires.

For one evening, @nano_kuche , with its Latin American-inspired cuisine, joins forces with Soul Kitchen, (@surf_n_turf_by_soulkitchen ) the culinary of German chef Tom Köffers (@tom.koeffers ), who brings Michelin experience to the table, to create a unique dining experience that brings together flavors, cultures, and stories.

Based in Phuket, Thailand, Soul Kitchen reflects Tom’s international journey and his approach to food: a cuisine where different cultures, ingredients, and techniques come together to create an experience that goes beyond the plate.

Ñaño Küche brings the energy, bold flavors, and identity of Latin American cuisine, creating together a unique experience for you to enjoy.

To celebrate this special collaboration the dinner takes place inside the museum @tempo___k
