There’s a void in my chest.

Most of the time, it’s filled with the weight of the suffering, violence, and injustice that seems to saturate our world.

Why do we choose violence, anger, and discrimination when other options exist? Why have we created a narrative where the "winners" are those who take advantage of others, and where "strength" is defined by exploiting the vulnerable?

That heavy, hollow feeling - all of my sadness and frustration - is poured directly into this song, "Equals".
