POSTS STORIES REELS

I've been getting some great feedback from my friends lately, and it turns out uncovering what goes on behind the scenes in the freelance world is interesting to watch!

This was my first time filming the entire process of a bridal job. While I'm personally not a fan of "do a wedding with me" videos, I hope you have fun watching this 10 seconds recap of hours of work.

I truly love what I do and I'm so grateful to everyone that has put their trust in me to make them feel confident on their wedding day! by @____bepretty

Back in May, I was talking with my friend @avril.prak and mentioned how much I wanted to do makeup for a gorgeous redhead. And voila...

Your thoughts DO become your reality - so make them count!

A look at the "in studio" work from a couple of weeks ago.
Great makeup isn't a one-size-fits-all formula and it's not reserved only for brides.

I consider working with young smooth skin a fairly easy task. It's creating a radiant finish on mature skin, which requires tailored skin prep and real technicality in application, that makes me a true professional.

And that's all!

Yours truly xo by @____bepretty

Behind every seamless wedding morning is weeks of behind-the-scenes work.

Bridal makeup is much more than a few hours Saturday gig - it’s making sure you can sit back, sip your coffee or mimosa, and feel relaxed on one of the biggest days of your life.

This past weekend was very busy and my little bridal beauty business @____bepretty successfully accomplished 3 wedding jobs!

While I have a lot of content to share, I didn’t have time to edit. So today I’m leaving you with this photo of incredibly beautiful Dara, who got married at @theinnatpleasantlake - one of my favorite local venues!

*Side note - I'm so close to it - there is no travel fees if you hire me to do your makeup on your big day!

Thank you to all of our beautiful brides for trusting us, and thank you to my awesome team for helping me execute! by @____bepretty

I took the opportunity to step back in time and work with @dashofwhimsy42 on this vintage-inspired shoot at Potter Place Station in Andover NH.

I hope you enjoy this little preview, and stay tuned for the final photos!

Our beautiful model Jordan @jordanbuschh absolutely killed it.

Thank you to our favorite local shopping spot, @go_lightly_consignment , for lending us the jewelry!

Believe it or not, these are all just clothing items I had in my closet. The jacket and skirt were actually purchased at Go Lightly over the years.
I say I’m a vintage clothing collector... my husband says I’m a hoarder. 🤷‍♀️

And the purse - I truly see it as a treasure. Not only it's a vintage item, but it belonged to my grandma. I brought it across the ocean with me in my early 20s when I moved to the states from Blakans. Seeing it in a shoot like this is very special. by @____bepretty

A moment for the Flower Purse 🌼👜

Wildflower inspired, full of whimsical flowers and movement.

The daintiest pop of pink to match the grooms suit, and yellow for a warm pop of color.

2027 brides, it's booking season! DM with inquiries! by @____bepretty

Saturday was about ALEX!

What an absolutely beautiful bride!

You've probably heard me say this over and over again, but creating light, skin-forward looks that highlight natural beauty is one of my favorite things to do!

Alex is an adventurous, outdoorsy girl who doesn't wear makeup, so making her look and feel like herself was a number one priority.

Here’s to Alex and all the other beautiful girls who love to get outside and explore 🥂

No one tells you how much of being a freelance artist is just staring at your phone trying to pick a cover frame...
Doing the makeup is only half the job… the other half is being full-time production crew!

Cheers to everyone doing what they love and making it work🥂

One of my favorite parts of being a freelance bridal makeup artist is traveling and discovering new places.

Over the years, this job has taken me across so many incredible corners of New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. I’ve gotten to see some of the most beautiful spots that New England has to offer!

I’m so grateful to every client who has trusted me to be part of their big day!
Here’s to more traveling, learning, and discovering! 🥂
